My best day with piper so far. Following yesterdays surprise results with the creance I wanted to try her out again. Even though she is definitely heavy (around 2.9lbs) I was full of hope for a good day. To start with it looked like it was going to be a wasted day as far as flying to the glove was concerned as she showed no interest at all in flying. She would, if permitted take the food from the glove but I wasn't going to give in to her. A friend arrived at the park and we got chatting for a little while, approx 25' from Piper, and just before he left I thought I'd try one more time before heading home so I offered her some food and she came straight away.
Another 7 or 8 times she was offered food and flew no problem at all.
Her farthest distance on the creance was around 100' and I was totally delighted with her progress.
