Harry Potter Born in 1980, Harry Potter is famous for making He Who Must Not Be Named disappear when he come to Godric's Hollow, where Baby Harry and his parents, James and Lily Potter,(who are wizards) lived at the time. Unfortunately, James was killed by Voldemort *gasp*, while Lily was murdered by him when she tried to protect Harry from evil Lord Voldemort *stop gasping!* disappeared. Something about Harry finished Voldemort off! But of course, Harry didn't escape death without.... a scar. Yup, on Harry's forhead is a red lightning scar... Rubeus Hagrid, gamekeeper at Hogwarts, came to the ruins of Godric's Hollow, and rescued Harry and took him to the Dursleys, Harry's only living relatives, who are Muggles (none-magical people). So Harry  came here to live with the Dursleys, Vernon, his uncle,  Petunia, his aunt and Dudley, his spoilt cousin. Harry had lived with them for ten years, ten miserable years,being kicked by Dudley, and bullied by his aunt and uncle, and sleeping in the cupboard under the stairs, not knowing his true identity. But then, a month before he was due to start at secondary school, someone started sending him letters, Aunt Petunia and Umcle Vernon knew what these letters contained, they didn't want Harry reading them, so they took action, either nailing the letter box to stop the Postman to deliver them, or shredding the letters in the food mixer, Then, they (or more like Uncle Vernon had had enough. He took the family to the most miserable shack far out at sea, where Harry counted down to his 11th birthday... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.. But BOOM!!! Instead of spending the first minutes of his birthday in the sad shack listening to Dudley's snores, he discovers that he is a WIZARD when Hagrid come and told him the truth (and terrifying the Dursleys).Hagrid, during this visit to the shack, lost his temper serveal times at the Dursleys. Vernon soon realised that Hagrid wasn't a man.. or, giant to upset when Hagrid inserted a tail to the bottom of 5-chin owner, Dudley. So Harry and Hagrid went to Diagon Alley, where Harry met his many admirers and fans, bought his school books and quills, got his magical wand and his snowy white owl, Hedwig. Then, on 1st September, Harry boarded the Hogwarts Express on platform 9 and 3 quarters, and met Ron Weasley for the first time, who soon became his very best friend. At Hogwarts, Harry got sorted into Gryffindor, one of the houses at Hogwarts, along with Ron.Harry also meets Hermione, a brainy girl whom he and Ron weren't really fond of until Ron and Harry fought off a Mountain Troll who tried to kill Hermion in the Girl's Toilets on Halloween. Harry has friends, yet enemies, like Draco Malfoy, who is in Slytherin , but Harry's ARCH ENEMY is Professor Snape, Head of Slytherin House, and the Potions Master. Snape is really mean to Harry  as Snape went to school with Harry's Dad, and THEY hated each other. Harry has lots of fun and adventures at Hogwarts, and so do we.
