Forest Hills, NY |
The project focused on the reconstruction of a one bedroom apartment in Forest Hills, New York. The concept was to convert a small kitchen/dining room/living area to one large, open, yet comfortable zone. |

In addition to the granite counter tops, the logistical placement of cabinetry was crucial to the design flow of the entire apartment. |
This was done by first eliminating walls that separated and constricted work space in the kitchen. This enabled the customer to be able to work in a less confining space while enjoying the airyness of the entire design. |
To finish off the living space, a large molding was chosen to enhance the viewing and overall warmth. Instead of painting, we chose to simply sand and laquer the molding to keep it light and unobtrusive. |
