record  :   1 - 0 - 0     next match  :   vs. Eddie Guerrero (X-Div Title Tourne)

foreword : I think it is safe to say that UPW has been suffering over the past few weeks. What was the catalyst of this downfall in excitement generated by UPW programming? Bad management? Bad booking? A lack of effort by those on the active roster? Nup! Nah! No!!! I'll tell ya what has been behind the lack of interest generated as of late ... the absence of Billy Kidman. You cannot take a star, in this case, THE STAR, out of a show or an event without experiencing some sort of downfall. Never fear though, as this Sunday Night's X-Treme X-Fire show sees the return of the man who many predicted to become the world heavy-weight champion a few weeks back, Billy Kidman. Although Kidman was unable to capture the gold, we know his crowning as the best in the business is only a short matter of time away. He has been placed in a quarter final match for the X-Dvision Championship, where he will take on Eddie Guerrero. Kidman vs. Eddie, should be a good one ... for Kidman fans

scene : The scene opens up with the Kidman logo, which when fades away is replaced by the view of a dark, stormy sky. The camera pulls down to where a coffin is being lowered into the ground. People are sitting around the lowering coffin, dressed totally in black, praying and looking toward the sky as a priest reads a passage from the bible. The camera picks up a dark figure standing behind the tombstone, and when zoomed in, reveals that it is Billy Kidman, standing with his arms in front of him, head bowed in respect, dressed in a dark suit. The casket dissapears into th eground as the camera focuses in on Kidman as he speaks, his head still bowed

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : The individual contained within this casket was a potential champion, a standout performer in his field, and one of the most respect men in the proffessional wrestling business ... (pauses) ... BUT ... he lacked the intensity, the drive, the hunger, to become UPW Heavy-Weight Champion, and anything less than UPW Gold is unacceptable for an individual of his talent. He possessed the qualifications of a champion but never truley displayed them, and this is where we must say goodbye to this individual ... FOR EVER!!! ... Ladies and gentleman, please join me, and the wrestling world, in saying goodbye to the Billy Kidman of old, because as of this moment, he is DEAD, NEVER TO RETURN!!!

scene : Kidman slowly raises his head as the rain starts to come down, to reveal he has his hair cut short, has sunglasses on and is sporting a goatee. He turns away and walks into the distance as the camera zooms in on the headstone, which reads:

" R.I.P ... Here Lies The Billy Kidman of old. By saying goodbye to you, we welcome a more hungry, determined, focused individual who will soon become the UPW's top man, and is hallmarked to become the new X-Division Champion ... Your new persona will lift you to new heights, of which no one in the business can match "

scene : The scene slowly fades away to dark as Kidman's theme, 'You Can Run' hits and we fade up to a Billy Kidman promo that shows him in training both in the ring and in the gym, he looks great. The promo fades out and is replaced by the view of the rejuvinated Billy Kidman, who is dressed in his brand new merchandise, muscle shirt, and cap included, with sunglasses on and jeans, as he sits at a table in the V.I.P section of a massive nightclub. He is relaxing with a smile on his face as he reads the latest issue of UPW magazine, whilst occassionally sipping his drink. Kidman looks up and pushes a chair out across the table with his foot allowing a female reporter to sit across from him. She sets up her laptop and pushes record on her tape recorder before speaking

' Reporter ' Aimee - Jane : Kidman, let's cut straight to the chase, why the absence from UPW? Rumors have it that you and Stacy has a falling out?

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : (doesn't look up from his magazine) First of all, it's Mr. Kidman, show some respect ... secondly, does it matter why I was gone? Fact is, I'm back now and have such a focus to become the best thing going in this industry that NO ONE will stand in my way. As for Stacy, she means well, but she's all legs, no brains, and I don't want to align myself with anyone who proves to be a burdon on my career

' Reporter ' Aimee - Jane : Your return match is this Saturday Night against Eddie Guerrero, a very capable opponent ... Has the change of persona brought about a change in preperation for this match?

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : Not really ... I still do all the basics the same, I just push myself a little harder. I'm benching more, running faster, eating healthier and I'm more mentally prepared. As for Eddie, I guess I feel a little sorry for that Latino fool, I mean, losing a match is bad enough, but seeing your chance to establish yourself as championship material dissapear as you lose a big match, that's devistating and something Eddie is going to have to come to terms with

' Reporter ' Aimee - Jane : I must admit, you look a little stronger than last time I saw you on UPW television. Speaking of which, how did your not winning the UPW Heavy-Weight Title affect your confidence?

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : With all due respect, I'm not all that worried about that event, or the result of the Royal Rumble itself, I'm 100% focused on the future, which for me is the X-Division Championship. I'm not going to lie, I was too distracted at the time of the world title matchup to make a serious attempt to win it, but for me, there are no excuses, but for all the mistakes of the past will be rectified and I can tell you now, that X-Division Title is going around my waist

' Reporter ' Aimee - Jane : Capturing the X-Division Title would certainly cap off a fantastic comeback for you personally, and I certainly don't doubt you, but you have to admit that it won't be easy as there is some serious talent left in the race to become the X-Division Champion

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : I'll be the first to admit that it won't be easy, and to tell you the truth, I wouldn't have it any other way, but that's certainly not to say that I won't be the man who is left standing with the X-Division Championship at the end this tournament

scene : Kidman looks up and smiles as the lovely, Miss Stacy Keibler, who is dressed to kill, sits beside him with a huge smile on her pretty face. Kidman puts his arm around her as she places three drinks on the table as the reporter looks on with wide eyes and speaks

' Reporter ' Aimee - Jane : But ... you just said that you and Stacy had a falling out ... You even said she was all legs and no brains

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : And the funniest thing is that you believed it, Ha! Ha! Ha! Why would I discontinue to align myself with the most intelligent and beautiful woman in the business? What I said before was what my opponents would want to hear me say, as they know just as well as I do, that with Stacy Keibler by my side, I am just that little bit more focused than I otherwise would be. Stacy and I maintain a business relationship which continues to be to the benefit of both Stacy and myself, whilst proving to be bad news for everybody else

' Reporter ' Aimee - Jane : Well, I wasn't going to question your decision to, well as it looked, discontinue your alignment with Miss Keibler, but I certainly do see your current arangement as being to your advantage

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : Of course it is, not only will I beat Eddie this week on X-Fire, but Stacy here will ensure that, due to her fantastic marketting ability, everyone will be watching it, therefore realizing that we have our next X-Division Champion on our hands here in Billy Kidman. No Latino hothead is going to stand between me and my title belt, in fact there aint a single person alive who will

' Legs All The Way To Heaven ' Stacy Keibler : Before you ask your next question, I'd like to ask you one ... Did your college degree or your store-baught haircut or even your little reporter's outfit prepare you for this? (Stacy throws her drink all over the reporter) Ha! Ha! Ha! Interview's over honey

scene : Kidman smiles as the reporter, now covered in Stacy's drink, stands up, folds her laptop up and takes hold of her tape recorder and storms off. Stacy smiles and sips at the drink she had placed in front of the reporter and speaks as Kidman watches the reporter storm off

' Legs All The Way To Heaven ' Stacy Keibler : Ha! Ha! Ha! Serves here right, she should realize that you have to focus on Eddie Guerrero rather than making a career for some young, skinny, suited up dreamer with a glint in her eye, Ha! Ha! Ha!

' Tha Shooting Star ' Kidman : Couldn't have sait it myself Stacy (sips at his drink and mocks Eddie) Perhaps Latino Heeeeeaaaatt can show her a good time (normal voice) Would be the slowest and most painful thirty seconds of her life, Ha! Ha! Ha! Poor Eddie, quick to make stupid decisions, even quicker to dissapoint a woman. This match, for me, is going to be like sex for Eddie Guerrero... quick and extremely one sided, only difference is, I don't have to pay to kick Eddie's ass, Ha! Ha! Ha!

scene : Kidman and Stacy clink their glasses together and suip at them before laughing, standing up and preparing to leave. Kidman puts his arm around Stacy's waist as they walk out of the camera's view and exit the club as we fade out to the Billy Kidman promo once more, which when fades out is where the scene fades out
