Family Involvement for a Complete Education Parents and families of Harvard Place students are an integral part of each child's academic experience. In the classroom, at home, and at extra-curricular activities, you are a partner in your child's progress. P.A.L. is the parent involvement group at Harvard Place Private School. Membership is not mandatory, of course, but it is strongly encouraged. Participation in the community life of your child's school builds strong bonds that will last throughout his or her educational experience. The one thing that every other parent-teacher group seems to miss but P.A.L. has included, is the fun you can have being involved in special projects at school. Most of the P.A.L. events are fundraisers, which helps keep your tuition as low as possible, but our volunteer parents prefer to call them fun-draisers. If an event doesn't leave those involved with a sense of accomplishment and warm camaraderie, it isn't our kind of event. All fundraising efforts are voluntary. You're encouraged to participate, but if you can't, you're still a valued member of our Harvard Place family. Some of the more noteworthy P.A.L. events are:
