To have a baby these must be true

1. You must have expanded your house to have a kitchen.
2. You must have expanded your house with a baby bed.
3. You must have been married.
4. You wife must have a red heart.
5. You must have had the baby bed for a three seasons and a day.

You will wake up and the midwife will tell you that your wife is in labor. You can't leave the room because your wife will suddenly groan, and you can't go in. I think that it was if you kept going to the door or you went back to where the midwife was she finally had the baby. Then you will see your wife and the baby asleep in the bed, and it will go to the black screen and say something and you wake up the next morning.

The baby stages are:

Newborn-Either in the cradle or your wife's arms. You can't put it down anywhere but in the bed. You can take it and show it to people though.
Crawler-It crawls around and you can still pick it up.
Toddler-You can't pick it up, you have completely no relationship with it, and now you must please it to get that old hag off your back.

I have heard that there is another stage, but I don't sit around and play harvest moon all day (sometimes I switch games) so I haven't gotten my game that far. I see no point.
