More Serious Social Problem in the United States: Anti-Jewish or Anti-Muslim Bias? - An American’s View

Smearing as anti-Semitic those who stand up and speak out in behalf of human and civil rights for the long oppressed, dispossessed, and exploited Palestinian people does not make it so. Anti-Semitism, bias against and hatred of Jews on the basis of race and/or religion, is a social problem in the United States, but it is not the problem that anti-Arab and anti-Muslim is. Hate crimes against Arabs and Muslims, like vandalism and arson attacks on mosques and Islamic centers, are far more frequent occurrences and represent a far more serious problem than hate crimes against Jews and Jewish places of worship.
