Unfortunately, Neal said, one thing has not changed.

Domestic violence calls are just as frequent and dangerous as ever.

Neal said alcohol is involved in many domestic calls, which makes thing much worse.

“The emotions are already running high,” he said.

“Alcohol intensifies those emotions and people get out of control.”
