The smell of recently purchased popcorn and pretzels mixed in with the sweat of the crowd. But she didn’t care; she was focused on the curtain from where they would appear. The crowd cheered wildly as they anticipated this glorious night.
The crowd cheered as the man stepped out with the microphone. I could barely make out the words of this blue-eyed man over the excited cries of, “I love you, Rob!” But what he said was more important, “Forget everything, all your troubles and worries. Just have fun!” And that I did. |
