I hope to God this picture came out, because it could SO win the contest.  (See #15 for more info.)

Now that THAT is out of my system, it's time for a few brief INDY details!!!

1) Well, I had FC tickets, and Smashley was my buddy, and our seats somewhat sucked.  We were row O, but from the layout of the venue, we were close to the stage, and in fact, when Rob and Adam came to our side, you could reach out and they could touch you!  That's how Smashley got an Adam pick...lucky!  *is still jealous*  ;)

2) Jason made an appearance, and so did CHAD!  Lots of us gave him a round of applause!  hehehe

3) Old 97s, while they were really energetic, they didn't really impress me.  Meh...

4) Between 97s and Train, I gave Steve a copy of Episodes 3-5 plus the Glossary of As The Match Burns.  I said he could read it, or anyone could, and he said it was really sweet, thanked me, and said he'd be sure that the guys got it first!  Let's just hope I don't get sued.  *cough cough*

5) Train worked the crowd.  Mmm...Pat was wearing this nice orange button up shirt, and jeans, and from our seats, we saw a LOT of nice ass shaking.  Yummy.  I'll be buying Drops of Jupiter shortly.  :)  Also, Pat dedicated a song to MBT.  I forget which one, "Free" maybe?  Someone can fill me in later...

6) mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm  *still remembering last night*

7) I picked up the poster, stills book, and the stickers...I was VERY pleased with all three.  Yummy.  You want concert details now, don't you?  LMAO

8) They opened with "Crutch."  HOT HOT HOT!!!  Kyle is a guitar GOD.

9) Rob wore a tank top with the Union Jack on it in negative colors with a black shirt over it and tight jeans, I think...maybe just regular cotton.  Wasn't long until the shirt came off, and we had a LOVELY view of not only his arms, but that cute Thomas butt.  For the encore, he changed into a plain black tee.  (TIGHT tee.  mmm.)  It was QUITE nice when he got all sweaty, and you could see his arms and shoulders glisten...omg.  *drool*  And his hair, when he headbanged...sweat went everywhere!  OOOHH!!!  He would also get out and stand on the equipment and stuff...I got a pic of him when he was over on our side doing it, and I think one when he was standing on the railings...he was only 20 feet away then!!!

Also, Smashley got me over to the other side of the stage before Train, and you could see him behind the stage talking!  He was wearing an orange shirt then...I got a pic of that.  Also, there was a basketball hoop back there.  I wonder if they played some?  hehehe  "Go get the ball, Kyle, you're the monkey!"

And then during Train, you could see his silouhette in a doorway to the side of the stage, and you could see every time he took a drag off his cigarette.  That was fucking hot, man.  *DROOL*  Maybe I have a pic of that in one of my Train pics...

10) PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goddamn.  OMG.

First, while Train was playing, he actually came out ONTO the stage and sat by some equipment and watched!  He was in black, wearing a ball cap, and smoking...it was so fucking hot when he would take a drag, too!!!  And his sandals!  You could see cute little Doucette toesies!!!  *SIGH*

During the performance, though, he wore an orange shirt, and looked so great from his perch.  He smoked a lot, and in the end when he was really sweaty, his long hair let it fly everywhere.  I got a TON of Paul pics...hopefully some will show it!

11) ADAM GAYNOR...YOU ARE A HOTTIE!  (Like we didn't already know.)  Well, him being on our side, he quickly became my favorite to watch, and is probably in 99% of my pics.  He wore a dark blue shirt and dark olive khakis.  He was looking VERY suave...hehehe

He came over to the very edge of the stage a lot, and handed out a few picks.  Suprisingly, though, not many people would come over to him!!!  At one point, only ONE girl went over there!  GEEZE!  LOL  But at these times, he was only about 20 feet away...he is SO awesome!

12)  KYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYLLLLLLLLLLEEEEE!!!  Guitar God is in the HOUSE!  I couldn't really tell what kind of pants he was wearing, but he had on a short-sleeved retro shirt, white with dark collar and trim.  And we had facial hair!  Damn, how much hair-growing testosterone does that boy HAVE?

Indy is his hometown, so he did a lot of killer back-up vocals, and seemed to wail a lot more on the guitar, more than he did in Cincy, anyway.  He'd also go over to his far side of the stage to visit the crowd.

13)  Pookie baby...he had it going ON!  He wore a light blue shirt, TIGHT, and TIGHT leather pants!  This must be Pookie's month to wear leather!  LOL  And his hair got all sweaty really quickly.  (It was around 85 degrees when they came on.)  He was all over the stage, and it was SO fun to watch him go!  He's probably in a LOT of the pics of Adam and Paul...LOL  hehehe  He is SO cute!!!

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS...

14) Like I said, they opened with "Crutch," followed by "Real World."  I was expecting the other way around!  LOL  I don't really remember the entire set, but it was pretty much the same as the rest...EXCEPT FOR...well, I'll get to that in a minute.  MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

15) This is what I felt was the best moment of the night.  During "3 AM," the crowd was pumped.  Rob reached down to take a rose from this girl, and when he stepped back, someone threw a beer bottle on stage, soaking Rob in beer, and almost tripping Pookie.  Rob, the god that he is, and with the rose still in hand, slowly turned his hand over, and with this LOOK, gave that guy the finger!!!  All without missing a note!  It was so fucking suave, so fucking cool, and we were all like, "HELL YEAH!!!  GO ROB!!!  FUCK YOU, BUDDY!!!"  Sure, I was EXTREMELY pissed at that asshole, but Rob got him back!!!!  WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  *drool*

16) Some radio station had a pair of big balloons that the crowd kept banging around, and one kept ending up on stage!  So Adam kept kicking it back into the crowd, and would kick it around the stage!  He was having so much fun with it!  He tried to get a thing going with Pookie with it, but Pookie wasn't paying attention!  LOL  Rob also batted it around a few times!  And on the note of things being thrown on stage, I saw some UNDIES!  LMFAO!!!  Hmm...I wonder if that had anything to do with the Thong Tossing Roadtrip?  ;)

17) *cough*  We got THREE covers.  What was the third, you ask?  "TIME AFTER TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  Rob came out, and had the guitar, was by himself, and I freaked!  I was like, "Okay, what's he gonna play?  What's he gonna PLAY?!"  And when he played the first note, I was screaming my head off, I knew what it was!!!  Before he started though, he told the crowd to not clap or we'd fuck him up!  LOL  And then Kyle came out and did back-up...I almost cried!!!  YAY TO THE BAND FOR TIME AFTER TIME!!!

18) During "Mad Season," Rob didn't do the camera thing, or get on the piano.  :(  But he did get on the piano during another song...I forget.  Hopefully someone will remember and let me know!  lol

19) "PUSH."  That is the best goddamn fucking song on the whole planet.  I was two seconds from losing control and bawling, simply beacause not only is this my fav song, but it means so much to me, and it was the climax of my evening.  I was SO excited, and SO happy, and just SO...whatever, that it was really emotional.  I was SCREAMING the words back at Rob, especially when he came over to us...I released a lot of anger and emotion that I didn't realize I had pent up inside.  Thank you, guys, for it!!!

20)  hehehe  What a number to end on!  Basically, it was a kick ass time.  Something interesting, though, some of the GD/CRers I met notice special mics and special cameramen everywhere.  Like, for making a VIDEO special...can you say Live From Indianapolis?  WHOO!  We KNOW they have to come out with another video, and we KNOW they have to tape one of these performances this fall, and maybe, just maybe, this was it!!!  It would be so cool to have this concert experience with me forever!  (And Rob's middle finger!  LMAO!)  I'm so glad I went, and I'm SO thankful for Matchbox Twenty.  =)
