Contact Lenses and Dyed Hair Rock
I had been planning to have a complete make-over for many months already, because I thought I had grown up and should become more like a 20-year-old girl. Another reason was, hehe, I wanted to be prettier. My slogan was 'I have to become Namie Amuro!' You might think, 'what a stupid girl…' But I had no choice. Each time I looked at the mirror, it just hurt. I was just so unpresentable that I would break all the mirrors and glasses only if I could.

First step of the way to success was to wear contact lenses. Christina brought me to an optical shop in Wan Chai. I was so nervous and excited when I first had those lenses on my hand. I did not know how to make it up. With the help of the opticians and of course Christina, I finally learnt how to put the delicate lenses on my eye balls. The entire process took me about 45 minutes.

The little thingies were just so wonderful! It had been long time that I could see things so clearly without wearing glasses. Yes, they would make your eyes dry. Yet once you get used to it, you will feel like as if you are wearing nothing. Bear this in mind, you must not rub your eyes. I had almost lost them twice the first two days I wore them just because I rubbed my eyes. Fortunately, I did not lose them or I would probably kill myself.

Dyeing my hair was the next best thing. Tammy and Hung-Sai went to a hair parlor in Central with me after a few days.

When I entered the salon, I was so turned-on. It was funkily designed and the hairdressers looked so reliable. Especially the one who did the hair for me, he was so cute. I got a feeling, this guy would become my history-maker.

After a couple of hours, my hair was done. It was so great! A stunningly fresh look. I was so thankful for the new hair-do the cute hair-stylist had made exclusively for me. My hair was colored in copper-brown and was heavily layered. Excellent! It was just exactly what I wanted. Not only Tammy and Sai, but all the people I know were floored by my new image.

It was such a perfect match. I now have become more confident. Thank you, contact lenses, thank you dyed-hair.
