Fragrance of A Butterfly |
You rest your body on a cotton bed and gazing at the ever swaying cotton clouds above. Some white clouds peep out from the snow in your hands. You feel so soft, so beautiful. They are waiting... Waiting for you to paint them; waiting for you to mold them; waiting for you to caress them... They are waiting for you. I left my body aside and turn myself into a butterfly. I flow in the air without making a sound, just to make sure that you don't notice me. I look into your eyes, I see the sunset in your sky. You ask the clouds if they understand what you think and how you feel, they don't reply. But even they don't speak a word, it is alright, it is just alright with you, they still remain best friends of yours. There are many things that you wish to confide in them; there are just too many things that you have been hiding in your secret chamber for a long long time. I see your dreams outside your door, I see the secrets fall. My dear, how I wish I could be your clouds... My dear, did you know that I could be your clouds? I'd go anywhere you go as long as I can hear your heart beats. I'd stand still wherever you are just to hear you breathing. I feel good when guarding you, with or without you knowing it. I love to talk to you even you are not speaking back. Hm... I am calling you now, can you hear me? If you happen to hear a voice in your head, will you ever know that it's me? You go to a park and dig a hole. It is as deep as it could be, a huge place to bury your unwanted stories. I found them all and embrace them tightly. I don't ask a question, I won't say a word, because I understand you, I know how you want me to keep them. My dear, would you let me be the hole? A gentle breeze comes close to your cheeks; thousands of snowflakes fall on your shoulders; you smiled an almost beatific smile. You are delighted, so am I. The time has come, I have to go. I have nothing to leave but my fragrance of love, a smell of butterfly. If you happen to smell the fragrance of love, will you know that it's me?
