 IN Project Manager:  responsible for installation and implementation of a full IN project, and integration within the actual IN of Syriatel. Support and supervise all tasks with Huawei provider and responsible for all interconnects software between Technical and IT.

Currently: leading the installation of a full recharging solution from FERMA including an E-voucher platform.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementation of IN service in Syriatel Network.
• Operation and maintenance of whole IN platform.
• Setup IN Tariff plan.
• Coordination between all departments for this project.
• Support and monitor the provisioning service on IN.
• Support and monitor the IN CDR collection for prepaid subscribers.
• Writing system test procedures, test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

Syriatel Prepaid From Siemens Provider                                    May 2002_Present                    

 IN head of section specialist for all main tasks, support, supervise, and manage Siemens IN platform (IN@vantage_V7b). Currently responsible for three live running Siemens IN and more than 750K prepaid subscribers.

All main objective of committee, project committee member, project studying, tenders presentations, RFQ, tenders evaluation, site preparation, training, installations, configurations, acceptance test, system administration, operations & maintenance, provisioning and troubleshooting.

SMS Project Manager: my main responsibilities were to implement SMS service, integration within Syriatel, Installation, configurations, acceptance test, system administration, service lunching, operation & maintenance, troubleshooting, service upgrade, and follow up with external support. Moreover manage SMS software team to develop specific applications needed for Syriatel based on SMPP application.

System administrator in the Syrian Telecommunications Establishment (STE). Duties include supervision of the network performance, maintaining all the breaks down of network system, orienting the system to the ideal performance, studying and finding solutions to improve the internet network, and contributing in solving the network problems. In addition, responsible for network and server administration, UNIX servers, SUN Solaris 8, Windows servers 2000, Windows XP and windows 2000 workstation, LAN switching, and configurations of Cisco equipments.

Projects

·         Syriatel IN Project: The mission is to manage all main activity, backup, daily check, daily reports for all servers, and solving problems. Implementing new data, new IN tariff, new SS7 configuration, and service upgrade. Developing the collection of IN CDR (Call Data Record) files from all existing Siemens SMPs servers. Developed using UNIX scripts and send mail application on Solaris workstation automated daily check procedure over all Siemens IN servers, including hard capacity, CPU utility, memory utility, transfer files, and backup monitor. Daily statistics for prepaid subscribers, total IN users, IN BHCA, and BHCA per subscriber.

·         SMS Project: working with hardware installation, acceptance, setup connection of SS7 with Syriatel MSC, service lunching, service upgrade, statistics query, sharing in all SMS services.

·         Iclip Service: Hardware installations for InterChange iQ400 ISUP transparency for computer telephony integrating (CTI) Feature, setup SS7 connection, configuration and application installation.

·         SMS Welcome Service: installation of Syriatel roamer welcome project function specifications, Ocean platform, connectivity, setup SS7 connections, install application on Oracle 9i database connectivity, and export & import database.

·         WinBack Service: Hardware installation, MuxMaster/Wdeband IAD-CSU/DSU E1/T1 converter, setup SS7 connection, Unix RedHat 7.2, Oracle 9i based on UNIX, and compiling and installing Apache I.3 based on Red Hat.

·         Configuring sendmail on Solaris 8: Perform the configuration of sendmail on Solaris 8 to send outgoing mail to an ISP using SMTP and POP3 server.

·         Set up the Network Time Protocol NTP: Define and manage the time on network environment for Solaris/UNIX Server/Client, and GPS (Global Position System).
