J's Stang

I started off by getting all the supplies. Went to Home Depot and got: 3/4" MDF board, 1 1/2" woodscrews, woodglue, 3M adhesive spray, and black FLAT spraypaint. Then off to JOANNs to get the fabric to cover the box in. I prefer a felt of some sort. And lastly Radioshack to pick up the terminals. (Also need speaker wire for inside box.) This is the first step cutting out the MDF and assembling it.

When assembling box I pre-drill holes to make sure there won't be any cracking, it is a really good idea to go the extra length and do it. I use wood glue when connecting the MDF together. Then I use more to on the inside seems. Check out the nice divider, a must with a dual inclosure.

I spray the inside of the box with flat black spray paint. With that done, I then break out the 3M adhesive. THIS STUFF IS REALLY REALLY GOOD for carpeting. I do one section at a time, front, sides, top, then back, this gives it a nice smooth pro look. Then lastly add the terminals. I have two 10" MTX 6000 woofers installed. The box is approximately .75 cubic square feet each so the subs hit nice and low. I installed a voltmeter on the side to give it a little extra custom look.
