Kohrson Driscolle
Evani
Age: 21 (m04/d20)
Position: Heir to Driscolle Estates
Appearance: Deep, bright blue eyes, the kind that belong on a Companion.
Wheat-gold, wavy air just under a hand span long, which almost constantly falls
into his face, making him look playful and almost mysterious. His complexion is
smooth and neither pale, nor particularly tan. He's got a strong, but not
square, jaw and a fine nose. His neck seems a little long, but it suits him, as
he's not the bulky, muscled type. He isn't flabby or fat, but he's got lean
muscles. His shoulders are broad and his hips narrow, with long legs. Kohr
stands at about 6' tall, and usually wears a superior smirk on his face, when
he's not trying to charm anyone. His voice... the silky, smooth baritone a match
for many a trained bard.
Personality: Spoiled and snobbish, he's quite the noble dandy. His clothes are
always neat, and though very proper and suited to whatever he's doing, of the
best make. Those below him are worth very little time and notice. All that
matters about them are that they do as they are supposed to, and tend to what he
or someone of high status asks. He certainly isn't the bravest of souls, but
he's very ambitious, and quite well aware of his exact place in terms of his
grandfather and the heirship. Annoyingly enough, when he wants to be, he can
seem quite charming.
Short Life Story: Kohrson's secret, in his past, isn't even known to him. None
have dared utter even a hint at it, for fear of what may result. You see, he has
always been told, and as his family has ever claimed, his father was supposedly
a low noble, who died of a fever while his mother was still pregnant.
Unfortunately, that is far from the truth. Kohrson is a bastard child, but all
that is left as heir to his grandfather's estate, and thus has been raised as
legitimate. His mother was impregnated by a drunken guest in their home when she
was but 19 years old, and his grandfather has been hiding that fact ever since.
He was raised as an heir would be raised however, due to his grandfather having
disowned the previous heir, his uncle. He was given the best of schooling with
the priest and scholars of their estate, and trained only in court fighting,
duels and such. After all, he would not be risking his own neck to real battle.
More often than any other lesson, though, was the fact that without his
Grandfather's favor, he was as worthless as the lowborn. Without his
grandfather's favor, he had nothing. No trade, no money, no fine wears, no
future. Thus, since without his grandfather's favor he was doomed to a life of
drudgery, he had damn well do whatever the man says.
However, as he wasn't completely dim, and the man wanted to make sure that when
the lad did finally take over he had some brains and ambition, he did develop
intelligence and a will of his own. So though while under the watchful eye of
his grandfather, he was the loyal little puppet, as soon as he was sent to court
at Haven, and began attending the Unaffiliated Collegium, he began breaking away
into his own interests, and his own ambitions. However, should any order come
from his Grandfather, he is still quick to follow it.
