Physical Description: Average height, a bit portly. Brown hair and beard going slightly grey, bushy eyebrows, and brown puppy-dog eyes that show his good nature but disguise his adamantine moral character.

Personality: Somewhat gruff but is a very good-hearted, gentle man. This is apparent especially when he’s around children, including his own. He was raised in the gentry, the second son of a small family; he took his invalid father’s place at Court and was eventually elected to the Council. His whole family has an excellent reputation for being honest and just.
