Malloriel

Erin

Name: Malloriel shena Pretera’sedrin

Age: 17 (m01/d24)

Position: Unaffiliate Trainee- 1st year

Gifts: Mindspeech (very strong), Firestarting (average but under Goddess block)

Appearance: typical Shin-a-in. straight bluish-black hair, falls to waist when free, usually restrained in a loose braid down her back with smaller braids framing her face. Golden-brown skin and eyes that are the deepest shade of amber. Athletic with lightning quick reflexes.

Personality: friendly but wary and distrustful of strangers until they prove themselves and gain her trust. Tends to bond very strongly when she does bond with someone. Intensely loyal. Hot tempered with a relatively short fuse but the intensity of her reaction means it burns itself out quickly under ordinary circumstances. She is she’chorne and knows it. Tends to be a bit jumpy and quick with her knives. Not someone to startle.

Short Life Story: typical Shin-a-in upbringing. When deemed old enough began training in archery and blades, showed a decided aptitude for knives. Also trained her own saddle-bred (a mare named Stardust). Discovered early on that she was she’chorne, parents were mildly disappointed as she is their only daughter so far but soon reconciled themselves to that fact. At 15 she was among the best of the clans scouts. Had her Gift of Mindspeech open up. Thought she was going insane, hearing all those voices in her head, until her clan Shaman told her what it was. He had recently received a vision from the Goddess telling him to send her to Haven where she is needed. However all he told Malloriel was he has been guided to send her there because she can get good training for her Mindspeech. She is not at all happy about being sent away from her clan to live among strangers. Was completely unaware of her second Gift until informed by Dean Firedancer.

Pet: saddle-bred, mare- Stardust
Description: a petite little mare, grey with a sprinkling of small white specks that almost look like dust (this is how she got her name), calm and obedient (at least to her rider).
