Position: Palace Guard, 3rd son of a minor noble from the borderlands to the southwest.

Appearance: has blazing red hair (is often teased about someone setting his head on fire), curly and of medium length. Has eyes of a most unexpected and piercing black. Naturally pale skin and is often sunburned (not a hope of ever attaining a tan). Strongly built with a squarish face. Of average height. Has excellent night vision.

Personality: all that one would expect from a redhead but with some notable differences. Can be devious when it suits him; a good, cunning planner. Not much given to talking or putting himself in the spotlight. Prefers to remain in the shadows and observe from there. Easily overlooked but content to keep it that way. quite satisfied in his position with the Palace Guard, enjoys welcoming the newly Chosen best about his duties. Often volunteers for the night watch.

Background: as the third son there weren’t many expectations for him. With two healthy, capable older brothers he knew he was unlikely ever to inherit and was perfectly content to leave such to them, as he had no inclinations that way at all. Like most of his rank was tutored in the soldier’s art from an early age and took to it naturally. Once he was old enough to be allowed to make decisions for himself he took himself off to train for the Guard. Has now been happily serving in the Palace Guard for several years and is quite content with his life.
