To that, one can only conclude, let’s put it nicely, that it is fodder - pure unadulterated BS intended to feed the seeds of mistrust planted by the
Republican Party.
First of all, the alleged situation occurred months and months before
Mr. Clinton became president. If she was so upset by the incident and resulting
discrimination
on the job, why did she wait to file her suit? Let's not forget - there was only 6-month
statute of limitations on sexual harassment claims at the time.
Second, it must have taken Starr and the Republican Party Clinton-haters to get her to come
forward. And, yes, no matter the denial, Jones did not make any claim before
Clinton-haters were in a major push to discredit Mr. Clinton. They will deny
it but I, for one, will never be convinced otherwise.
Starr had failed to find any valid evidence linking the Clintons to Whitewater and had to
find another path to keep his investigation going. He had to find something to aid in the
goal of the Clinton-haters, a goal of discrediting.
These people were certain Whitewater would turn the public against Mr. Clinton and the
evidence would be there. But, of course, it wasn’t. Therefore, dirtier tactics were turned
to.
Though maybe not the exact words, a plan of - "Let’s get women against
him. Let’s find a sexual harassment case or, failing that, make one up. We can surely find
a woman who will make a claim. Afterall, fame and wealth will be hers."
They did find such a woman. Paula Jones. This entire affair has been the result of
Clinton-haters buying Jones. There will never be enough evidence to prove otherwise to
people of at least average or above intelligence. The time factor of her claim negates the
validity of her accusations and any psychological or career damages
alleged.
If she were in the room with Mr. Clinton, it was because she wanted to be there and,
furthermore, she expected whatever attentions she might have received. Otherwise, why
did she leave smiling AND in good spirits?
Women who have been violated, whether mentally or physically, do not
leave the presence of the offending person, smiling and hoping to see them again.
Third, the attorneys have taken 700 pages of so-called ‘evidence’
to the judge who is
responsible for the case. 700 pages. And, that apparently is just from the depositions of
five women who allegedly have had favors given because of sexual favors they gave.
My question is: Did any have the same story as Jones? You see, without that, there is not a
pattern of improper behavior as described by Jones. Therefore, it is not evidence is
support of Jones’s claim.
And, even if there were similar stories, it doesn't mean Jones was treated the same. That is
nothing more than mere conjecture and shouldn't be allowed to be presented as evidence.
My conclusions are: If Jones had been as upset as she claimed, she would have made her
claims while still under the employ of Mr. Clinton’s governorship and within the time
limits set by law. She would not have waited until a year or so after he became
president.
Second, she would never have come forward if not for Starr and members of the
Republican Party inducing her to do so. When the truth outs, it will be that she was either
coerced by them or paid by them to do so or both.
Third, the Jones’s mess has been intended solely to discredit Mr. Clinton, to turn women
voters against him and the Democratic Party. You can bet they, Clinton-haters, that is, will
make use of this in the next presidential election.
That, Ladies and Gentlemen, is now Clinton-haters’ goal, to create material to use against
Democrats in the next election.
And, Jones - well, she has been, and is, nothing more than a tool for them to use. Once they
are through with her, she will
be discarded like so much trailer trash, regardless of the money she receives in the
end.
