The problems that cause the difficulty are due to the depth of corruption that exists in all levels, but particularly the federal, of government. The numbers of violations of civil, moral, and criminal laws by people who should stand as the most positive of role models are astounding. It gets so difficult to read statements made by people who are known to do the exact opposite and act against every value held dear by the people of this nation.
People in government are bought by the highest bidders, and bow to whatever the super wealthy want as advantages for themselves. The money flows into the pockets of politicians in Washington as waste water does into the sewer systems of America. Corruption is not a necessary evil, as some writers have stated, but is just plain and simply evil.
Conflicting interests often prevail, as they did when Bush (the old one) was in office. Not only is the Republican Party partially owned by the petroleum industry, during Bush's administration, the industry had as a supporter a person (President) who also has considerable holdings in the same industry.
Thus, gas prices reached the highest levels next to now and the energy crisis of the 70’s. Just how much extra did the Bush family make during the 1990 rise in prices? This is surely one of the questions that will never be answered but one must presume it is in the billions.
The man lied to the public concerning Kuwait and Desert Storm. His oil wells were at risk in Kuwait and he was helping out an Iraqian buddy. The war actually had little to do with Hussein; he was just a fall guy to blame it on.
Then, there are the Republicans forcing the public knowledge that Clinton had seduced (or been seduced to receive) oral sex from an intern.
As if Republicans are pure. In fact, the leaders in the party, including Gingrich, Burton and a conglomeration of others, have had multiple sexual encounters (Burton even produced an illegitimate son while married as was his consort). As witness to this, the party had a very difficult time finding a decent enough person to replace Gingrich with after the party forced Gingrich to quit.
Now, we have a guy in the primaries deemed to be stupid by people who have studied him. The guy called "Dubya" (although I prefer
‘dumb-as-a-rock bushbaby' who has spoke of "...returning dignity and honor to the White House." Yeah, right.
Let’s see. He was a partier on into his governorship and used cocaine during that time according to dozens of witnesses. He lied about his stopping his use of cocaine. First, he said
"seven years" (his tenure of campaigning for and fooling the people in Texas
into electing him governor); then it became a 'quarter of a century'.
But, informed sources have a couple of hundred witnesses who can testify he used cocaine while serving as governor of Texas and at least three witnesses who could testify he did so as a pilot of a fighter jet while he sat out Desert Storm at home.
He has also been a philanderer if sources outside mainstream media are correct. One might presume the sources are correct as philandering goes with the territory of being a partier, of being rich, and of having power, if it is was a spill off from his less-than-wholesome daddy. Few men can resist an average woman who is offering her sexual prowess to him, let alone
resist willing beautiful women who flock around leading politicians like fly on crap. That is just the way most men and the women attracted to them are.
And, members of government prove it. Bush daddy’s money and power bought his way out of Viet Nam and Desert Storm. That is a matter of simple logic if records have been destroyed as is
the pattern with government when it wishes to hide the truth.
Dummy Bush cannot make an intelligent statement on his own and has an extremely difficult time handling any question concerning his own convictions. What he does answer is written by his campaign people or others. Heck, as far as we know, the media that supports the dummy might be making up what they
write or say about him. It wouldn’t be the first time the media has made up stuff in order to have a story or manipulate people’s thinking.
Disproving my statements is simple if anyone wishes to prove me wrong. Some person in the position to do so could interrogate 'dumbya bush' with questions the guy doesn’t know about in advance. And, keep pushing for answers rather than letting the cornball off the hook. Why not - it would reveal him for the ass he is.
There is a lot of manipulating going on by the media right now, as is expected with the many in mainstream who are loyal (bought by) to the Republican Party. Polls, usual pure crap meant only to paint a picture the pollsters want painted, are being
used to manipulate people's thoughts daily. Besides, what are the choices to begin with?
It may be that most people don’t care anymore what Washington does. So, maybe it doesn’t matter whether most find the people in the primaries most disagreeable as potential candidates and, potentially, the president of the once great, but now fading, home of the free.
Polls seem to indicate there is great interest. But, when one interviews people on the streets and in businesses, it seems there is little interest and most (close to all) don’t even know, or care to know, what goes on. Corruption and
government control has reached the limits for them and all they want is to live their lives and try to avoid problems inflicted on them by government.
But, I do care as do millions of others. Many of us are fed up with all that is wrong with government, including its excessive, unconstitutional, non-jurisdictional control. I can’t speak for
them but I can for myself. To even consider a coke-head, amoral, unethical, spoiled rich brat who has seldom made the right decision for himself or the state he governed, is an affront to the good people of this nation.
While convicting others of drug usage and sales, he was, at the least, using illegal drugs himself. What hypocrisy! This doesn’t not speak of honor and dignity but, instead, dishonor and a complete lack of character.
He avoided what so many of our men and women could not avoid, tenures in Viet Nam, Desert Storm, and other far away places. Many of these people who could not get out of going died and, supposedly died defending freedom. One might question that but, still, it remains the myth.
Others were mangled for life and have had to make adaptations to living that would not have had to have been made had it not been being struck by enemy fire, including mines and other exploding devices meant to take their lives.
Others have suffered tremendous psychological problems associated with the killing, both by themselves of the enemy and the enemy’s killing of their friends. And, to have the people back home not backing them (speaking of Nam). Then, to find out this ‘conflict’ was not for the reasons stated.
Others have suffered from chemicals used by the nation against the people who were considered the enemy. Sort of ‘friendly fire’ taking its toil in physical problems that didn’t show up immediately. Of course, this is referring to Agent Orange and its effects on innocents.
Avoiding the horrors of war because of being able to buy one’s way out, whether by money or who knows who or a combination of the two, is not an honorable act but the despicable act of a coward. It is not the American way, nor is it available except to the very wealthy and powerful.
In the case of Desert Storm, it was easy for Dubya to NOT have to do as his fellow American soldiers did - go to fight along side the other soldiers and possibly killed. Actually, they weren’t his ‘fellow American soldiers’. True, he was in the military but was he a ‘fellow soldier’? I think not. He was in the elite class of being the son of a president. So, he stayed where harm could not come to him - flying jets in Texas and partying just as he had done his whole miserable life.
Honor means integrity, nobleness, and uprightness while dignity means nobility, honor, self-respect, and nobility of manner. Bush hasn’t behaved during his life as a person who has the positive aspects of self-esteem, let alone with integrity, nobleness and uprightness.
Rather, he has behaved as an adolescent with little self-esteem as evidenced by his attention-getting misbehaviors, choosing to violate laws that we innocents obey, and - depending on his daddy to get him off.
So, can this man return dignity and honor to the White House?
Fat chance. He is only capable of bringing shame to those of us who love this country’s founding principles. He can only dishonor the office to an even greater degress than the Republican’s nemesis, Clinton, did. Bush's (either one but particularly the younger dumber one right now) character lacks the strength necessary to develop and defend a ‘conviction’ based on the principles this nation was founded on.
Hopefully, the Electoral College, when elected, will face this fact and put the Texas dummy out to pasture once and for all time.
