Protect our constitution and let us live in peace - that is your job. You people haven't the slightest idea if what you are doing in regards to fighting crime, education, the 2nd Amendment, drugs; in short, federal jurisdiction and application of common sense and facts. I surely pray all the American people wake up to the fact you have only one goal - that is, to create a 100 percent totalitarian government.

It is now imperative that each and every congressman be replaced. I realize you [to Danner] are retiring but you have a few months left. Defend the Constitution openly and state on mainstream media the hidden intent of the bill under consideration, S.486 and H.R. 2987.

Entering people's homes and property, including auto searches, is as much breaking in as that done by any common thief. By doing so, the federal government is acting as a terrorist group, not a central government with very limited functions.

I am angry because of the theft of my money by the government which the government does by coercing the compliance with non-jurisdictional laws. It does so through intimidation and armed marauders.

But, most of all, I am angered to the very core by your (congressional) raping of the Constitution and you people standing before your constituencies talking about how great your party is when both major parties are a plague on the liberty ture Ameicans, a category I fail to see that members of Congress belong to, hold dear.

One day there will be a price to be paid and the payment will most likely be in hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of lives. And 536 people who quite likely should be treated as traitors will be responsible. So I must ask - Just when the devil will the greed of Washington politicians be satisfied?

Stop the bill. I repeat - stop the bill. And, please - no crap about how it is going to help fight meth and crime.

If you are fighting against the bill, then, of course, none of this applies to you. But, if you are part of using meth and other fictional drug/crime fighting "causes" to plunder the people of this nation, may you be damned to hell with those that are trying to get it passed.

And, I ask, would you want your home opened up to any government agency that wishes to enter it, steal your private property, terrorize you by pointing loaded automatic weapons at your head, beat your family, and be subjected to the other atrocities committed by federal terrorists? If not, then by gosh, do your job which is to support the Constitution and provide common defense of the 50 states.

If you doubt the federal government is not out of its jurisdiction, read the Constitution. Congress has very limited authority to make laws concerning the states. In general, only laws concerning commerce may be made. Unless imported, Congress hasn't any regulatory powers over drugs or firearms, and very little over crimes not involving treason and crimes on the high seas.

Congress may not affect the Constitution without amendments granting additional powers. As a matter of fact, every gun law, drug law, education law, social security, and federal income tax are unconstitutional.

Although Congress and most of the population have forgotten it (if they ever knew), the federal government is subservient to the people of the 50 states. It only have plenary power over the District of Columbia (actually foreign to the states and ruled a corporation), the possessions, and federal properties. The 50 States do not fall into one of these categories although the members of Congress seem to believe the States are federal properties or possessions.

I fear for this country because of the insatiable greed of those elected to represent the people of this nation. I fear that the greatest threat to this nation is not from any other country but is, instead, the federal government. We have far more terroristic acts by armed agencies of the federal government than we do from other nations, perhaps a 100 to 1 or more. And now the attempt is being made to violate nearly every premise this nation was founded on.

Jeez, that sickens me - why doesn't it you? Or, does it? But, the money and power are just too much to resist. I guess only you can answer that question...
