Lewinsky's Dress

In my former life of - how to state it nicely - debauchery - I have known many women. I have known women who were professionals (meaning attorneys, nurses, teachers and others; also includes prostitutes), blue collar workers, white color workers, women who didn’t work much, and women who were, regardless of socio-economic status, out looking for a “good” time.

I have known women who would, when absolutely necessitated, wear the same clothes two days in a row, even if the clothing item was soiled. Usually, this was while camping or on a week-ender that came about spontaneously.

I have known women who would, after spilling coffee or obtaining a stain on a blouse while on the way to work, turn around, go back home at the risk of being late to change into a ‘fresh’ blouse rather than go to work with a stain.

But, you know what? I have never known a woman who would do anything other than put a sexually-soiled article of clothing in the dirty clothes or in the pile to be taken to the dry cleaners with it either being washed in the next load or sent to the dry cleaners in the next bundle.

Now, maybe I have known strange women who didn’t want to keep unclean clothes for any length of time. Maybe I just haven’t met a woman who kept sexually soiled clothes as a memento. Usually, just looking at the article of clothing would bring to mind the encounter and allow the article of clothing to serve as a momento. But, keeping the article soiled as a keepsake? I don’t think so.

The alleged affair with President Clinton had began ‘sometime’ in 1995 and ended in April, l996. Now, if the dress with semen on it that Lewinsky kept was not intended as a keepsake (actually, would not this be rather strange), why did she keep it - uncleaned? Isn't the norm to have the piece of article cleaned as soon as possible?

I ask you - did Lewinsky keep the dress knowing that her affair was going to be made public by her good friend, Tripp, months later and that she might have to produce the dress as evidence?

In other words, was Lewinsky part of a very devious, long-term Republican-based conspiracy? Did she have instructions to orally seduce the president in order to assure positive transfer of his semen (positive proof of sexual acts) on an article of her clothing?

Think about it. If the stain proves to be Mr. Clinton’s semen (It did), is there any other plausible explanation for NOT cleaning the dress?

Let's get real, Ladies and Gentlemen. Lewinsky's keeping the dress soiled with semen for two-and-a-half years cannot really bear up under any other explanation, now can it?
