Another day with perfect weather in Lloret de Mar. The boys had a fitness training session in the morning and enjoyed the afternoon off. Some went Go-Carting others just relaxed.
In the evening, we had an exhibition game against a very physical local team. The playing surface was artificial carpet which was very hard and slippy. The boys certainly learned about how to deal with this physical style of play and some excellent coaching wisdom from Ekrem helped the boys rise above the frustrations of the poor surface, physical play and indifferent refereeing. This lead to a well fought 4-1 win! Sadly, the lighting was poor at the stadium for this evening game and I have no “worthy” photos of the event – but I am sure it is one the boys will remember the game for some time!
