English Spelling Vol.2 is the long-awaited sequel to English Spelling CD Vol.1
To assist teachers who have limited access to, and skills with, computers
this second volume has been produced in book form.
It covers the long vowel sounds of English and their most common spellings
and includes a booklet of English Sounds which lists and illustrates common digraphs.
A sound CD covers all the sounds used on the original computer CD and in this second volume.
There is also with permission to copy the sound CD once onto cassette
for teachers without ready access in classrooms to CD players with detailed tracking.
There are numerous photocopiable exercises
as well as hand cards and wall charts,
and hints for teachers on how to use the materials most effectively.
It is suitable for learners of any age trying to cope with the idiosyncrasies of English spelling.
