Prepares briefing materials and other explanatory paraphernalias
as to the program of activities undertaken to safeguard the influenced
environs of the project. ? Conducts inter-agency meetings to gather and disseminate
information regarding the environmental safeguard of the project. ? Attends and initiates public inter-activities regarding the
effects on the environment of the projects and submit to the PMU a finding
report. ? As a Project Officer of Project
Management Unit (funded by USAID), I was able to write and produce a
newsletter concerning the projects undertaken within SOCSARGEN (South
Cotabato, Sarangani and General Santos City) by the Area Development Project,
Project Management Unit. ? Some of the project were as
follows: GSC Fishport, the new GSC
International Airport, Makar Port Improvements Project, Tampakan Mini-Hydro
Power Plant and Construction of Air Cargo Terminal and Cold Storage
Facilities at the GSC Airport. Most
of these projects were funded by USAID. ? Copies of the newsletter were widely
distributed to all Government Offices and Non-Government sectors all through
out the Country. ? |
