Release Date: August 21, 2005 Dayton, Ohio Object As Bright As The Moon Date: Summer of 1974 Time: Early Evening Full Description of event/sighting: I've had two UFO encounters; one in Dayton, Ohio around the summer of 1974, and an up close and personal sighting in July of 1976. My first sighting was in the Summer of 1974. I just finished my freshman year of high school. One night I decided to go to bed early. It was hot and I laid down with my head at the foot of my bed. I had a window high on the wall at the head of my bed. I was laying there trying to catch a cool breeze when I saw a round light that I thought was the moon. I couldn't sleep because the moonlight seemed so bright, just like it was shining in my face. So I moved over to get the moon out of my eyes... Low and behold what did I see? The freakin' moon, the real moon except not as shiny as the other light. I looked back at the round and very large bright object in the sky. It took a couple of seconds to realize that the light wasn't natural, so I trucked down stairs with the rest of the family. I didn't go back to bed until everyone else went upstairs, and I didn't tell anybody until the next day thinking they wouldn't believe me Thank you to the witness for the report. ------------------------ Xenia, Ohio Large Dark Object With Colored Lights Date: July of 1976 Time: Evening The other sighting was more spectacular. A real close encounter. I reported it years later, but realized, afterwards, I reported the sighting on the wrong month. Well, that's what I get for waiting for 30 years. I originally reported the sighting in September of 1976, but the sighting actually took place in July of 1976, just before the start of my senior year of high school. My family lived on Old 42 South just outside of Xenia, Oh. My sister and I were watching TV. My mom was looking out the front window in our living room. The sighting was after dark, maybe around 10:00 pm. My mom told us she saw a flying saucer outside. I thought she was joking, so I told her to leave us alone we were watching TV. My sister went to look out the window and she saw the same thing. I thought they were both messing with me. I looked over my shoulder and saw some flashing lights through the window and front door. I told them the state police must have somebody pulled over. Old 42 was an old divided highway with residential drives. Anyway, mom said it was in the air. I thought about it and told them it probably was a police helicopter. After saying that I thought, "hey, no noise." Not even the regular traffic that doesn't die out until after 11:00 pm.. I got up and went to the door and looked out the window. I saw flashing lights, but the roof of the front porch was blocking my view of whatever it was. I went outside and my attention immediately went left. I saw cars stopped in the middle of the road. I looked right, and saw the same thing. Then I looked up. Just above the tree line no more than 50 feet away was a large dark object, bigger than our house, just floating there. No noise, and not much movement other than strobing lights in various colors all around, and underneath it. I was freaked. My mom and sister came outside too, but I didn't pay much attention to them. It felt like my stomach had dropped. I couldn't take my eyes off it. It was dark against the night sky, but big. Funny, I can't remember the shape of the thing, but mom said it was round in shape, with a dome on top. She saw it as it was coming down the highway. It followed the road about 100 feet off the ground. It moved slowly. When I came outside I was looking almost directly underneath the thing. I wished I could get hypnotized so I can remember it better. I'm an artist and I'd like to do a painting of it. Anyway, it moved south down the road towards the next house. It started to descend like it was going to land. As it eased towards the ground it started glowing underneath, and the light got brighter the lower it got. When it got about 10 feet from the ground, it arched away like a shot. It went from a large craft to a spot of light in the sky. I can't remember how long it hung around until it took off, but it darted around in the sky for about 20 minutes. It zipped in several directions like it was playing pinball in the sky. Then it disappeared. I don't know what it was, but it didn't come from around here. It moved in impossible ways, even with today's technology, and it's speed was unimaginable. Other people saw it, and I'm sure other's reported it. I've seen reports of sightings that were similar to ours, from the same general area. I know I was reluctant to report the sighting because of ridicule, I'm sure there are many others who are afraid to speak up for the same reason. Though I've reported the sighting, to date, I've received no response... Thanks anyway Thank you to the witness for the very interesting report. -------------------------- Near Santiago de Cuba A Round Red Ball Hovering Over The Bay Date: Mid November 2000 Time: 11:00 -11:30 p.m. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round red ball. Full Description of event/sighting: A friend and I were in Cuba looking out over the bay near Santiago de Cuba. We were in deck chairs and it was quite late at night. We were sober at this point and just talking. We noticed a red light hovering over the bay and being that there was no point of reference, I could only guess at it's size. I would say it was about 2 feet in diameter and maybe about 300 feet away? It was quite difficult to see sometimes and we would lose sight of it. It was there for close to 30 minutes I would say. At first we thought that it was a car taillight but then realized that we were looking at the water and there were no cars out there. If I had to compare it to something.. I would say that it looked like the point that you would see from a laser pointer except 3D. We had some thoughts that perhaps it was a laser pointer from another planet that was probing and extracting information. There isn't much south of us in the Caribbean sea except for Jamaica and this certainly wasn't a boat as we would've seen other lights. Though it was about that height off of the water, maybe 10-15-20 feet or so. We're 99% sure that this was a UFO and now that I've seen something like that. I've noticed more 'red balls' floating here and there but they're never around long enough for me to notice. Sometimes you notice them on country roads over the fields. Thank you to the witness for the report. -------------------- Nanaimo, British Columbia A Circular Luminous Craft Date: June 15, 2004 Time: 9.30 p.m. Location of Sighting: Mt. Benson. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circular. Full Description of event/sighting: I was at the corner of Forest and Merideth at the stop sign. I was watching a jet way off towards Comox, and remarking how clear the night was, no contrails from the jet. Half convinced it was a UFO, when off to my left a brilliant flash appeared up in the sky perhaps a half mile away, my wife remarked at the same time. I turned to stare at the clear, when it stopped to reveal circular, luminous shape. I stared for three or four seconds, thinking it must be a helicopter, and thought it also was watching the Comox jet. It then cloaked out from the top out. I'm crazy, but my wife is not. She describes it as the light sucking out of it. I told a fellow I met walking his dog about the sighting a year later. His jaw dropped, he asked me if I was messing with him. I said no, then he then spouts the name of five witnesses and proceeds to tell me that on Gabriola Island about 7 years ago he saw the same craft, metallic flash, round luminous object. The object he saw traveled along a mountain wall, then cloaked out from the top down. Additional Information: We were stopped watching a far off Comox based jet. Then, off to the left, a blinding metallic glinting light appeared, and my wife spoke up to ask me to look at it. Nothing, was there before, I had actually scanned the sky as we drove to the stop sign. I turned my head to the left to look out the drivers window, and looked at the light. It stopped glinting to reveal a circle luminous appearing shape. I considered that I was looking head on into a helicopter, as they do have a little landing field that way, visible from off the Nanaimo parkway. I looked hard into the body of the shape to see if I could see some sort of operating control, but saw nothing, and then the shape, starting at the top, cloaked out from sight. Like a cascade. Hey, I'm a Trekkie, like it stealthed out. I looked over at my wife, who, by all accounts is a sane and quite a sober person. I asked her if she saw what had happened. She replied she did, that it was the weirdest thing she has every seen in the sky. She claims she saw the light just suck out of it. Well, that's what I saw. June 15, 2004. I even called a radio station, not sure if here or Victoria based. Of course, no one else had, so I dropped it. It's not like I am unique. I hope I see something again, and it gets collaborated. But if it doesn't, oh well, not every question gets answered for you. Thank you to the witness for the report. ----------------------- Phoenix, Arizona Another Unusual Bright Flashing Object Date: July 31, 2005 Time: 2:41 p.m. Brian, I was going through some tape that I took on July 31, 2005. My girlfriend and I were facing east with the wind to our backs and this object was traveling SE towards Sky Harbor. I taped it for almost 2 minutes. This was moving quite quickly and was pulsing or flashing a silver flash. I continued taping when it appeared to morph into a more cloudy mass until it completely disappeared in the cloud it was heading to. I hope you enjoy these clips. So as normal, I got out of bed walked out on to the deck and looked up to the sky. I saw that it was a gorgeous night, the stars were shining bright. So I sat on the lawn chair and slouched back with my head on the backrest watching the stars. Then all of the sudden two disc like objects lit up above the housing subdivision. I jumped out of my chair, blinking my eye and starring at the two UFO discs. They started to move slowly across the sky from north to south then the one on the left moved sideways and then back again. They made no noise as they slowly continued moving south over Gamble subdivision down towards the yacht club docks and over the trees. Then they were out of my view, this lasted for about 40 seconds I would guess these object were about two or three thousand feet of the ground," I still can't believe it my self" since that night I have been reading like crazy on UFO sightings. Thank you to the witness for the report. ---------------------- Dunwich, Suffolk UK An Unusual Flashing Light Date: August 5, 2005 Time: 10:00 -11:00 p.m. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Unknown. Full Description of event/sighting: I was watching satellites go over at night on a very clear night (clearly see milky way). Other identifiable objects such as a couple of jet planes. There was no moon and very low light pollution. The object was a bright flashing light tracking across the sky, west to east at first, flashing at non regular intervals of 1-4 seconds. I mistook for a plane initially. It was brighter than any star or satellite by about 5 times, and larger than any other visible body by about 5-10 times. But still small, appeared to be at very high altitude and heard no noise. It was not a plane, as there were no other navigation lights, and was much brighter/larger emission of light than any plane we had seen that evening. It only grabbed my attention when it shifted course several times, and appeared on a different heading with each flash, ended up exiting view 20-40 seconds later in a north east direction. Also it was clearly visible, then disappeared (perhaps behind cloud) but was clearly visible at a 20 degree elevation above the horizon when no stars were visible at that elevation. I have no idea what it was, but it did not behave like anything I have ever seen and I have spent quite a few nights watching stars and satellites track across the sky. My wife put the camcorder on the deck and propped it up with a towel. We were having so much activity that we were bound to catch something on film. They don't get much closer than this! I'm outside at home in western Oshawa, sky watching tonight, facing west on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at about 11:20 pm. In the description of what I saw, was simply amazing. This roundish, white star object, flashing ever so slightly, moving along north of my position. Here's the kicker, this object was very low, at about between 100-150 feet above the ground. The distance from myself and the object, would be also between 100-200 feet max. away. The speed of the object to guess, would be around 80-100 + mph. This object appeared to be flashing, and it's size would be 2-5 ft. in diameter. It's flight path was from the east to west, towards Whitby,Ontario. The object's light intensity was just like that of a star,whitish blue. It did appear to have a ever so slight, up and down movement (waving). I had only a window of about 3-4 seconds to view this star-like object. I recorded the time at exactly 11:26 pm EST. How much closer will "they" get. I please urge any other people, to report any similar sightings to this recent one I have encountered. Thank you to the witness for the report. ----------------------- Orange County, California Objects Disappearing and Reappearing Date: August 13, 2005 Time: Approx: 9:45 p.m. Number of witnesses: 4 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Bright orange/yellow circular. Full Description of event/sighting: Outside my patio I looked up to see a bright light. It was overcast so there were no stars. My boyfriend and I started to watch this bright light as it faded in and out. We then noticed two other objects appear from nowhere. They crisscrossed each other and then the two disappeared. All the while the main one pulsed. They then reappeared on the other side of the horizon, zigzag again in the V shape. During this time my two kids came out to see what it was. Again they disappeared and reappeared in another part of the sky with the V shape downward zigzag. They faded across the horizon. They flew at a rate of speed that is unmatched by our planes (that we are told of) and none of a planes usual lights being that it only had one each that was visible. The main seemed to melt slightly down and then up as it pulsed. 4 people witnessed this over a 10-15 min period. Date: August 19, 2005 Time: Approx: 6:10 p.m. I had been in Atlanta for a couple of days. I was flying home with a business associate. We were in his private plane. He is a pilot, so he was at the controls on his small plane ( 4 person aircraft / piper ). He did not see this, and I have not even mentioned it to him. I did not mention it to him when it happened either. I was embarrassed as to even know how to try to discuss it as he and I are not good friends, but instead only associates, and this was the very first time I had been around him much. It was also the first time I had been up in his plane as well. So, the last thing I wanted to do was to start telling this guy I don't know very well, about how I just saw a UFO during our first business trip together in his plane. Here is my story, and will try not to change it from the "exact" facts only. It was August 19, 2005 at approx 6:10 p.m. on my watch ( set to west Tennessee time ). We were flying home from Atlanta. I was looking out the window towards the ground just watching. I haven't been up in a small plane but once before, so this was fun to me and I was just enjoying watching the ground. I noticed below us what seemed to look like maybe a chrome ball, or maybe a Mylar balloon? It basically looked sort of chrome in color and round. It seemed to be about maybe 500 to 1000 feet away ( I knew distance because we had recently had a plane pass under us and the pilot said he was about 1000 feet below us ). Anyway, I saw this round, chrome colored ball below us ( between us and the ground ). It seemed to me to be approx 1000 feet below us ( or so ). It began to move upward and sort of toward us. I thought maybe it was a balloon. However, I remembered we were "moving" in a plane so we should have passed by it, if it was a slow rising balloon. It didn't act like a balloon anyway. I am looking out the window watching this ball rise towards us. It seemed like maybe it was rising slow at first (or stopped), then within maybe 3-6 seconds or so, it rose up to the same altitude as our plane, then moved sideways ( as if it were parallel with us and moved in the opposite direction as what we were flying ). I had to turn my head backward to watch it move by through the back seat area glass ( I was in the front passenger seat ). Then, as it moved by us, it seemed to shoot up really fast and vanish. Basically within about 10 seconds or so from the moment I saw it, it rose up to our level, was about maybe 100 feet away (when at our level), moved sideways (like going opposite direction as us), then swooped upwards (allot faster than it was moving before) and vanished. I was a little scared and did not know what I saw. I did not say anything to the pilot about it as I just did not know what to say. I did however, ask him right away "Where Are We Right Now?" and "How High Up Are We?" I thought this may come in handy somehow later if I wanted to try and investigate this. I had no idea where we were (above what state or city etc) as I am not familiar with plane routes. So I had no idea where we were. Anyway, he told me we were above Huntsville, Alabama and we were at 6000 feet. I then looked at my watch at noted it was about 6:10 p.m. (my watch set at time zone of my home in West TN). I am not sure if that would be the same time in Huntsville, Alabama or not. I did not see this out of the corner of my eye. It was pretty clear skies and I watched it clearly. It appeared to be something like a "round ball" and looked sort of chrome in color. I have no idea of the size, as the distance would be sort of hard to gauge in the air for me but if I had to guess I'd say maybe 5 to 20 feet in diameter??? Thank you to the witness for the report. ------------------------ West Vancouver To Coquitlam, B.C. Strange Cloud & Fireball Date: August 20, 2005 Time: 8:57 p.m. Hi Brian, 08:57 - Aug. 20, Just after sunset, sky was still quite light towards the west, was just sitting here half watching TV and talking with my wife, all of a sudden she said, "what the heck is that". I looked over to Cyprus Bowl in West Vancouver where she was pointing but the only thing I could see was what appeared to be a dark gray contrail hanging in the sky and extending about half a mile to the south. She kept saying, look, look, its moving. I watched it more closely than realized she was right it was moving at a very high speed for a cloud. I took a look through my binoculars but it still just appeared to be a dark gray contrail. Anyway within about 30 sec. to a minute, It traveled from over Cyprus Bowl to Heritage Mountain. In Coquitlam. All the time it maintained its shape, not spreading out like most contrails do, when being blown by the wind. Never seen clouds do that and I noticed the other clouds north of the mountains, all appeared to be going very slowly from east to west, not west to east. When it got over Heritage Mountain. It just seemed to fade away. Seconds later a very large meteorite or fireball appeared in the sky almost over our bldg. It headed north towards Heritage Mountain., before apparently burning out at almost the same spot in the sky where we last saw the contrail. I told my wife the contrail was probably from a Jet flying over earlier, but she insisted no. That was the same thing she used to see in the skies over Fiji, going from the west towards the south. I repeated probably a Jet, she said "No its not" she used to see Jets flying over all the time and they were always white, not black or dark gray like this was. Wish I'd had the camera ready when the fireball went over it was spectacular and moving much slower than the usual meteorites we see. The fire on Heritage Mountain. is out now but I still wonder what that white object was, you should have seen the way it just faded out as it resumed level flight. The sky conditions were still the same when the choppers came and they were flying all around the same area and the sky was clear, the only time I couldn't see them was when they either flew behind the mountain or dropped down behind the ridges apparently to get water. Thank you to the witness for the report. -------------------- Priest River, Idaho Small Object With Circular Blinking Lights Date: Ongoing Time: Evenings HBCC UFO Research Note: What the witness is referring to, or I should say the object, below is a short description of what it looks like. What I see is a small object with circular blinking lights. Usually red white and blue, although sometimes it blinks only one color. The lights get intensely brighter when I'm very near. Up close it looks saucer shaped. I also see random white lights near it, slowly moving across the sky, then suddenly takes off at amazing speed. (below was the persons initial report) Hi there I just read your story and I want you to know I believe you. I have seen the exact same thing and in fact, I see at least one every night wherever I go. All I have to do is scan the area around me for a while and I eventually see it trying to hide behind a tree. Sometimes it's in plain view, but slowly works it's way behind a tree after I look up at it. I thought I was going crazy until my fiancé finally started to notice it. He was absolutely floored the other night. We spotted it outside our window(of course partially behind a tree) although this time it was extremely low. We watched it for a while and I got up and walked out the door to our shop. My fiancé said as soon as I walked out the door, the object quickly darted to the other side of the tree and became closer, blinking more rapidly. It moved towards the shop as soon as I got in there. He got a good look at it and said it looked like a little saucer with lights blinking around it. He was amazed. This thing(or things) are everywhere I go following my every move. I have shown only a few people and they also confirm I am not crazy, lol. Although nobody has seen what my fiancé and I have seen. Mostly because we've spent a lot of time looking for it. It's really starting to freak me out actually. I don't want to go broadcasting it to a lot of people for fear I'll be humiliated. I am obsessed with finding out what this is and why it follows and watches me. Start looking around at night and you may actually see the same thing.
