A film crew of four and Mr Chris Rutkowski (a 30 year veteran in the UFO field) arrived from Manitoba as part of a very hectic two day filming schedule to document the unprecedented amount of unidentified flying objects sighted last year in the Pacific North West of British Columbia.
The filming started when Brian and Chris greeted each other at the airport and other shots were taken in and around the Smithers area that evening. On the following morning at 8.a.m. a very busy day's shooting schedule began and didn't end until 10.30 p.m.
The crew visited a Telkwa resident over his July 29th 2002 sighting that he reported and filmed Brian and Chris interviewing him regarding what he saw that day. Later that evening the crew returned to his house to do a re-enactment of his night time experience.
After various stops along the way the crew arrived at Vike's home in Houston to film him and Chris discussing the data that was collected over the year, viewing video clips of some of the objects that were filmed by the area's residents and consolidating ideas to try and come up with some answers as to what everyone had been seeing. The film crew also met with three Houston women who saw an incredible object fly over the top of their vehicle as they were heading home in the evening from Smithers to Houston on February 1st 2002. Their experience was the beginning of a record setting number of reported sightings to HBCC UFO Research during that year ... from February right through until December. Their scarey experience was also re-enacted from inside their vehicle as they travelled along highway 16 in Houston.
To date most are still unexplained.
