Sample Library Attendance
Procedure For Students
Students may use the library during
Class Periods
-
With permission from class teacher
During Lunch periods
- -Students must present their school ID's
- Sign the library attendance roster located at the circulation desk
- Students who choose to eat lunch must go immediately to the lunch room.
- Students in this category may use the library after they finishing eating lunch.
- Students who are not eating lunch are required to report directly to the
library before the second bell.
- Students in this category are expected to bring books and supplies and remain in
the library until the end of the period.
Student Conduct in the Library
- Students are expected to work quietly and independently on class assignments or
special interest projects
- Recreational activities (socializing, playing cards,checkers and etc.) are not premitted.
Borrowing Privileges
Books are on loan for two weeks
Magazines are on loan for one week
Video are due the first period of the following day
For materials classified as special or reserve check with library staff
Library Fines: Students will be assessed
$.05 per school day per item for overdue books
$1.00 per school day for overdue videos
Overdue Notices
Overdue notices are issued on a weekly basis through Advisory teachers
Report promptly to the library to return your materials when you receive an overdue
notice
