Matt Logan (Vince Poletto)
Matt Logan has fallen in love with Allie , Steve's sister and he's there to support her when Steve died in an accident .
After a few Episodes though , he's attracted by the new girl , Stassy , and that causes he and Allie to break up .
He's doing his HSC this year , and of course , he passes with a high mark , and he and Stassy leave the series in the Buick to explore Australia and enjoy life !
Allie Matts (Inge Hornstra)
Allie has to go through a rough period in the beginning because of her brothers' death , but thanks to Matt , she gets
over it . She and Matt do everything together , she trains with him in the school cross country team , etc...
But when Stassy comes to Hartley High , things get more complicated between her and Matt , and she ends the relationship .
A new teacher , Tom Summers , even causes more trouble by having a realtionship with Allie and making her pregnant !
Allie decides to have the baby and leaves for London , after winning a competition with her novel she wrote during the schoolyear .
Alan Bolton (Jon Pollard)
Bolton moves into the warehouse , and becomes one of the main characters in the series .
Although he still likes to disrupt the classes , he becomes a "nicer" , more mature person , and Ms.Dyson , the new principal , instantly believes he's not stupid at all , and
helps him with his studies . At a school debate , he even helps Hartley High to win with a great speech about Racism , and he
falls in love with a Chinese girl , but she leaves for China , and he's back alone .
At the end of the school year , he's organizing a great party called "Bolton Big Beach Bash" , and because it's such a huge success , he gets a contract for organizing
more parties in Australia and he leaves the series .
Danielle Miller (Emma Roche)
Danielle is having big troubles at school after Steve died , she's using drugs and she's always missing classes .
Thanks to Deloraine , she's not expelled from school and she gets another chance . Later on , she falls in love with the new guy , Declan Costello , and she feels better already .
Danielle wants to look after herself , and so she lives with Allie and Bolton in the warehouse , and together they have a great time there !
At the end of the schoolyear , before the exams , she gets the opportunity to do what she always wanted : studying journalism in Wollongong . Dyson promised her she can do her HSC
there and she takes the chance and leaves Hartley High .
Declan Costello (Rupert Reid)
Declan was expelled from his last school because he kicked somebody into the hospital there . Now at Hartley High , he's given the opportunity to proove
he's not a troublemaker and finish his HSC . But his first day already ends up in a fight with Bolton , who is mad about Declan for beating him at pool several times . Dyson still gives him a chance , and
things work out between Bolton and him , and Declan soon has new friends . Danielle has got feelings for him , but he's not a very social type and their relation begins very slowly .
Declan hasn't got much money , his mum is sick and his dad left him a while ago ,so from time to time he has to busk on the streets to look after himself .
After the HSC , he gets the chance of studying nursery in Bathurst , and because Danielle also left Hartley to study in Wollongong , he takes the chance and leaves .
Charlie Bird (Sebastian Goldspink)
Charlie comes to Hartley High after he met Katerina on the Internet . He , of course , likes her very much , but she doesn't like him at all , in
the beginning . Then he changes his "nurd" look into a more "cool" look , and it works , Kat is falling for him already !
His parents are getting divorced , so he has a rather hard time at home . He decides to leave home and move into the warehouse .
Charlie wants do get a high mark at the end of the HSC , so he can study computer science in the next few years , but finally he doesn't get enough points ,
and he decides to start over his HSC-year , together with Katerina .
Katerina Iannou (Ada Nicodemou)
The beautiful greek girl , now has the job of managing the Shark Pool . And Katerina sure likes it that way , always telling the others what to do !
But she always means it well , and she's actually very sensitive . She also tries out some new things , like the Internet , where she finally meets Charlie . When she first sees him , she's embarrassed about him being with her all the time ,
after a couple of weeks , she starts liking him , and it soon turns over in real love ! She also moves in with Charlie into the warehouse , so they can always be together .
Stassy Sumich (Tara Jakszewicz)
Stassy has a bosnian background , and she was always brought up very strict at home . Her father orders her all the time what she has to do , e.g.
helping with the kids , housekeeping , etc... But when Stassy comes to Hartley High , she changes her look in a very excentric way , and the others feel a bit weird about her in the beginning .
Matt though , likes her , and she and Matt have a relationship , after he split up with Allie . Stassy is very good in modelling and making her own dresses , she even gets a modelling job at the shopping center , but
it ends up in a big disaster when Bolton demolishes the stage by accident ! Bolton likes Stassy too , and at a time , Stassy says that Bolton is her "soulmate" , an she and Bolton come to school in weird white outfits .
But the "soulmate" business doesn't last long , and Bolton knows now that Matt is the one Stassy's in love with . She failes the HSC-exams , but Matt passes and together they leave the series in the Buick , to cruise through Australia !
Tom Summers (Simon Baker-Denny)
Mr.Summers comes to Hartley High to teach the boys how to cook , but that doesn't work out that well , so after that he teaches the whole senior class .
From the beginning , he liked Allie and he gets a relationship with her and she even gets pregnant . Due to his unforgivanable mistake , he has to leave Hartley High .
June Dyson (Diane Craig)
June is the new principal of Hartley High , after Deloraine retired . First , she's not very helpful with the students , but when she gets to know them better ,
she's always there to stand up for her students . Especially Bolton , who had never been liked by most of the staff , gets the full support of Dyson , cause she thinks he can learn too , with a bit of help from her .
When she leaves for Queensland with her son Gary Dyson (Marc Gray), who's in a wheelchair , right before the HSC-exams , Bolton freaks out and thinks he can never do the exams without her . But afterwarts , after Dyson had a chat with him ,
things work out with the students and even Bolton is ready to do his exams .
Ronnie Brooks (Deni Gordon)
Ronnie is the new replacement of Sam , as a Modern History and English teacher . She's from the United States ,she's very cooporative , and always in for a joke .
She's also sportive , very helpful to her students , and the senior class appreciates her very much. She had a few problems when an adult student wouldn't listen to her , but the students always came up for her and the problem was solved
by expelling the adult student . Together with Dyson , they take good care of Hartley High , and she hopes everyone can pass his HSC-exams !
