Bogdan Drazic (Callan Mulvey) The students have moved to Hartley Heights School , and Drazic likes it over there , it's like "bladers'paradise" !
When he finds out they're having a blade contest at that school , he thinks he can beat the old record easily , and so he does ! Therefore he gets the respect of all the Hartley Heights students ,he doesn't get punished by the school council ,
and the kids of Hartley High are now accepted by everyone , and not called "rejects" anymore .
He and Anita are still in love , and he thinks of moving in with her , when Hillary (Ms.Scheppers) leaves for Melbourne . But Ryan hates the idea of him and Draz staying under the same roof ,
and Anita finds out she has to do the housekeeping alone , so Drazic has to find another place to stay . He moves in with Mai into a new warehouse , after they got kicked out of the old one .
Draz is also working at the Shark Pool , together with Mai , when Mr.Black reopens the place . Anita Scheppers (Lara Cox) Anita is still madly in love with Drazic , and she almost lets him stay at her place , but Ryan & Mai make sure it doesn't have to come that far .
When the new girl Sarah arrives , Anita is there to help her and show her around . She and Sarah become good friends , and thanks to Anita , Sarah can fit in the new environment .
She always stands up for her brother , even when everyone thinks he's using drugs , she believes her brother is smart enough to keep away from that stuff . When the truth comes out , she keeps
helping him and trying to get through to him that he's going in the wrong direction . That's one of the things that makes Anita Scheppers such a beautiful girl , she's nice , friendly , and always there to support
anyone who needs help . Ryan Scheppers (Rel Hunt) Ryan immediately feels great at Hartley Heights . From the beginning , his eyes have fallen onto Nikki , and he's trying hard
to get to know her better , which Kurt doesn't like at all , because he also likes Nikki very much . Ryan also joins the school rugby team , which is coached by Kurt's father , and where
Kurt always had been the star player . He thinks he can beat Kurt in football , but when Nikki finally chose Kurt , Ryan freaks out and roughly tackles Kurt into the Hospital !
Now almost everyone hates Ryan , so he keeps away from school and he starts using drugs . But thanks to the support of his sister , he gets over it and the things turn back to normal .
Nikki Ruark (Fleur Beaupert) Nikki is a girl with many singing ambitions . She often busks in the streets and the places around the city , so she can get a bit of a support ,
because she comes from a poor family , and there isn't much money left for her alone . She's always having a strong opinion on things an she sure isn't shy to make everyone clear what she thinks .
When she's with Kurt , she doesn't want to rush things and that's possibly why their relationship doesn't last that long .
Kurt Peterson (Jeremy Lindsay Taylor) Kurt is the most sportive guy of Hartley Heights , good looking & muscled , loved by many girls .
Kurt's father first coaches the rugby team , but he loses his job as an accountant ,
and he drinks too often , so Kurt has to go through a rough period .
Also , when the Hartley High gang came in , he and Ryan soon hate each other , because they both want Nikki . It ends up in an accident on the football field , and Kurt
is now certain that he can never become a professional rugby player anymore . But he has got the girl he wanted now , Nikki , and he feels happy again .
Mai Hem (Nina Liu) Mai is very busy in running the Shark Pool together with Drazic . Like we already know Mai from previous series ,
she always has some new ideas to come up with , and she always has her say in things , also at Hartley Heights . When she gets robbed at the Shark Pool by some biker though ,
she becomes very paranoid and Drazic has to guard the warehouse etc... . it even comes that far , that Mai sleeps with Draz because she's too scaired to sleep alone !
Drazic feels very bad about it afterwarts , and he wants to forget they ever slept together , but Mai doesn't feel the same way , in fact , she starts liking Drazic more and more !
When she tells Anita about the "accident" , Anita ends up her relationship with Drazic , and Drazic's very angry of course ! But things loosen up , and Mai leaves school when she gets a job
as a director for ICE Records . Sarah Livingstone (Nathalie Roy) This girl is new in town , and she moves in with the Scheppers together with her mum Kath , the new housekeeper .
First , Sarah is a very nice girl and she does everything her mum tells her to do , but when she finds out that her mum lied to her about her father being dead , she starts looking for her father everywhere .
Later on , when she finds out that her father is still alive and that he's even a priest , she freaks out ! (how would you react?!) Kat decides to move back to the country , and Sarah goes back with her .
Lee Delaine (Marcel Bracks) Lee is new at Hartley Heights , and starts there together with his father who's a teacher . When everyone treats him like a looser ,
he does some dangerous stuff to become part of the gang . Sarah comes back from the country , and she's staying at Lee's house now , because she got kicked out of her appartment .
Lee's older brother , Simon , died a few years ago , and his parents are still comparing him to his "perfect" brother , which Lee doesn't like of course , and he rans away from home .
But his father finds him back and can stop him from leaving , and things work out .
Dennis (Putu Winchester) Dennis is a good friend of Kurt , and also playing in the school rugby team . When there's a fight or trouble , Dennis is mostly not far away , that's why he and Drazic soon become mates .
He's always telling people straight on what's on his mind . Dennis'brother is suffering from the Down-syndrom , and Dennis is embarrassed to tell the others at first , but when Anita helps his brother ,
he decides to introduce him to his friends and treat him like a normal person .
Kath Livingstone (Elaine Hudson) She's the new housekeeper of the Scheppers , and although she also grew up in the city , she lived in the country for a long time , to bring up her daughter Sarah .
She's very catholic and she always goes to church . The house should be kept clean all the time , and she's very strict when it comes to punctuality . Ryan & Anita aren't very used to that , but they can still make their own decisions of course !
First , she forbids Sarah to go out with the others , but then she sees that there's no harm in it and Sarah is much happier when she may go out from time to time .
She has kept it a secret that Sarah's father is in fact a priest , and she even told Sarah her father was dead ! When Sarah finds out the truth , she freaks out and Kath knows now she made a big mistake by lying all the time .
Kat decides to move back to the country , and Sarah comes with her , but not for lang .
Mr.Albers (Frederik Miragliotta) He's definately one of the weirdest teachers of the planet , only for his teaching methods alone . He always tries to learn his students
the subjects in a creative way , and it helps , the students are very enthousiastic and they learn a lot . He comes from a gipsy family , that maybe explains his originality and his different views on things .
Hartley Heights lessons were never boring with Mr.Albers , that's for sure ! When he gets a job offered at the theatre , he leaves Hartley Heights and starts a new career .
Mr.Delaine (John Walton) As Lee's father and teacher , Nat replaces Mr.Albers to teach the senior students . He sees that Lee has difficulties
with him being his teacher , and after all the problems in the beginning , he thinks of putting Lee into a new school , but Lee wants to stay at Hartley Heights .
He's a bit old-fashioned , unlikelily Mrs.Delaine , e.g. he refuses Sarah and Ryan to sleep together in his house , and he's still missing his oldest son Simon very much .
He tries to change though , giving Lee a second chance , and becoming more "modern" by doing some performing acts in class and playing together with his students .
Jill Delaine (Morna Seres) She's Lee's mother , and for a living she sells cars . Although Lee doesn't like her to smoke , she needs her cigarette
everytime she comes home from a long day of work . At the car market where she works , Drazic gets offered a work experience job : first he just has to wash cars ,
but later on , he turns out to be the ideal man for turning some commercials for their store ! (and because Jill always forgets her lines)
Di Barnett (Andrea Moor) Di Barnett is the principal of Hartley Heights School , and she has to take over from Bailey when Hartley High closes down .
She has actually a very modern view on directing the school , and she leaves some responsibilities directly to the kids .
They all appreciate that of course , and besides her work as a principal she also teaches the senior students .
