What We did
We set off at 4 in the morning! It took 2 days to get to Italy, with a stop over in France on the way there, and in Germany on the way back. We stayed at the Hotel Continental in Nago, on the northern shore of Lake Garda.
Whilst there we played 3 concerts,
Of these, I would say the second concert went the best. The audience was responsive, and the band played very well.
We also had many trip to places of interest, mainly historic towns around the lake, but also a trip into Verona to see the Opera "Aida" in the "Arena di Verona", and a day trip to Garda Land. This was a lot of fun for every one (possibly apart from the adults!).
There were also many informal parties and the last night was especially good fun, because the Hotel we were playing at was holding its weekly Sangria night! Once back at the Hotel, everyone descended into the bar and everyone enjoyed the last night!
