Here Steve and I are replacing the cylinder Jacket.
There is a lot of work to do ,but we are well on our way to achieving
our goal ,last year we applied to put the locomotive on the National Register
Of Historical Places ,This will make it possible for us to apply for a
grant such as a I.S.T.E.A or a TEA21 .
This summer we had Benson
Mountain come to perform a feasibility study on the locomotive and
it was discovered that the boiler was in good condition after all these
years and that all that was needed was a re-tube and the replacement of
several stays.
