Selections from Plutarch's Moralia

Although Plutarch was not a Christian, his writings have been a major influence on early Christian theology. His works are worthy of being studied and examined and help introduce several concepts to the mind uninitiated to philosophy.

This translation offered here is from the 1878 Goodwin Translation, printed by Little, Brown and Company in Boston. William Goodwin took earlier translations of Plutarch's Moralia and edited them with corrections and revisions.*
