Formed in Connecticut, in November 1995, HATEBREED have quickly become one of the highest selling acts in the history of hardcore music. Constant touring, a 'take-no-prisoners,' 'make no compromises' attitude, destructive live performances, and a penchant for controversy has catapulted the band from its origins in the hardcore underground to the forefront of aggressive modern rock.

Hatebreed has shared the stage with the likes of Kid Rock, The Deftones, Offspring, Danzig, and in the summer of 2000, were one of the most talked about bands to take part in the inaugural edition of the "Tattoo The Earth Rock and Ink Tour", a cross-country festival tour featuring the likes of Slipknot, Slayer, Sepultura, and other high profile mainstream hard rock acts. Past touring has included 9 dates on 1998's Warped Tour and tours with bands as varied as Entombed, Motorhead, Dropkick Murphys and Soulfly. The band was recently added to the second stage lineup of Ozzfest 2001, and will tour the US this summer with acts including Black Sabbath, Disturbed, Slipknot, Linkin' Park, Crazy Town, and more of rock music's leading acts.

2001 will see the release of the long-awaited follow up to the band's Victory debut, "Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire". The new album "Perseverance" is scheduled for a late June release on Victory Records. The band plans no departure from their trademark bone crushing, bottom heavy sound. Hatebreed are serious about their music, and their message. Frontman Jamey Jasta states "Our songs steer clear of holier than thou politics and beliefs...they deal with topics that anyone from hardcore kid to metalhead, punkrocker to raver can relate to and identify with.." With influences ranging from Slayer, Sepultura, and Obituary to the Cro-Mags, and Biohazard, Hatebreed has brought Hardcore and Heavy Metal together as no other band has been able to do.

My opinion for the band:I don't like them anymoore.They have some good songs but that is all they have.
