Fishing Hole Stand Faces South
Steve Moore plowed and cleared this field and then Lowry and Steve came through and removed a lot of undergrowth and trees so that we'll be able to hunt all the way to the swamp. There is currently a 10-15 Foot Ladder stand there and a nice green field. You can see to your right the blind corner, straight ahead you see the fishing hole and there are some large buck scrapes all around. To your left you can see all the way down the trail/road almost to 1/2 way point to the "black widow" field. Directions This is pretty easy to find. Either go down the hill of death, stick to the trail and hang a left toward the beaver dam and you'll run right into it. The stand will be on the hill up to the right. If you want to cross from the stream, once you cross go straight ahead and you'll run right into it. The stand faces the NORTH so if the wind is blowing from the SOUTH, then you may not want to hunt there, you're going to be pretty high up but the wind will be coming off the hill down into the field.
