RED CLAY HILL Currently the Climbing Stand Faces North
We have cleared, burned, plowed and planted this field with clover for summer and rye grass. We have a climbing stand there now, but may put up another stand due to the size of the tree and it's instability. Directions Head down the hill of death and follow the trail. There will be a cleared our trail on your right before you get to the field that you will take to get directly on the stand. Deer killed Lowry saw a deer there on his first hunt in the stand, a buck was behind him but he didn't see it as he was in the direct path of the deer coming down the hill. Therefore we moved the stand and cleared out all trees and brush around that field so that you can see the entire field including the swamp/beaver dam.
