When I saw on Dean Haglund's website that you could obtain his autograph by sending him whatever you wanted his signature on, I began to think about what I might like signed. I didn't really have anything special, though, and I didn't want to just send in the usual publicity photo. I wanted something...unique.

Then, of course, I made The Island of Dr. Scully, and knew immediatly what I was going to send. So after making a photocopy of Glam Langly (I made the Dr. Scully lovelies by pasting XF crew members' heads on Frederick's of Hollywood models, so the hardcopies are safely tucked away in my desk), off it went. Happily, it must not have terrified him too much, as I received a fab-a-doobie autograph back in the mail a few weeks later! Now, my treasured, autographed Glam Langly hangs proudly in a frame on my wall.

Oh, I noticed that he now offers personalized, autographed photo postcards on his site - maybe he got too many nuts like me sending him bizarre things? ;-)
