>2-per-month Summer Outings are announced at the monthly meetings and starting in 2009 will be on the website under 2009 OUTING SCHEDULE.

> August '08: Other Category- Handmade muleshoes and chain links from Cataract Creek; Gold Category- 7 entries but gold nuggets from Atlanta Creek won.

> September '07 meeting presented an antique metal AC tractor seat in the Other category. No one brought in gold for find-of-the-month contest.

> July '07 meeting presented a "Miners Cache" in the Other category and a 60 grain gold nugget in the Gold category.
> June '07 meeting presented a 1860s 45/70 cartridge in the Other category and a 1.3 oz gold nugget in the Gold category.
