1.  The reasons for my being quiet at such instances are:
(a). My views & reasons for doing things are generally very different then the ones people want them to be. Cause I generally do things which seem right to me &  (in many cases) to my instincts. I prefer not to tell others in order to avoid  - hurting them, conflicts & explainations. I prefer that they see the outcome & then if required I would address their queries. Since I take complete responsibility for my actions, so I feel others shouldn't be complaining.
(b). I have noticed that people generally look for confirmation when asking me something & so they grasp those meanings to my said words which would amount to their ideas. If my ideas tend to be different, they generally ignore them. In short, they generally don't hear what I've to say but they deliberately hear what they want to hear.
(c). I have also noticed that people tend to use the words I speak as a weapon for blaming me if things go wrong (irrespective of whether I'm responsible or not).
(d). This reason is specific to elder people. When they run out of ideas/logic to support their views, they generally come up with one of these following cliched excuses:
(1). Don't try to be smart with us, we've seen more of this world then you.
(2). How dare you reply back to your elders?
(3). Is this the way to talk to your elders? Don't you've any respect for them?                                  Don't you've manners?
(4). Doesn't our said words have any meaning for you? You think we are fools                                  or your enemy?
(e). I'm basically a Listener. I generally prefer/like to listen to people then to talk.
(f). Some things require proof before they can be let out in the open. So, I try not to                       disclose them unless I've the required proof to support them.
