Men are "DOERS," not talkers!Hypnotherapy will help men get at the emotional reasons for substance abuse (smoking, alcohol, drugs) and work though those self sabotaging behaviours in any of their relationships. Hypnotherapy, for men, is fast and focuses on "doing" the work they need to. They control the job (how it's done, the tools used, etc.) and the pace. * these names have been changed *Dave quit smoking but gained weight. Cold turkey was the answer for the one but the weight would not come off! When we explored his need for the weight we found a smoke screen. His guilt for how he might have damaged his children was hiding behind that smoke screen. Once we knew that it was a simple matter for him clean up that smoky wall and let his children out. Dave had already quit smoking, now the weight fell off by itself! Alright, Dave! *Daniel found he smoked when he got bored. This boredom kept him tied to his cigarettes. Amusingly the sign that read BOREDOM behind the smoke screen was on a beautifully carved wooden sign. He now expresses his creativity doing woodwork, thus relieving his boredom. Fabulous work, Danny! *Tom found his self-esteem hampered by a murky brownish slime! We worked to clean this anxiety and guilt out of the plumbing, thus allowing his self-esteem to flow cleanly and freely! Using a pressure washer and haz-mat containers the job was done in minutes. Disposal was easy and now this slime will not be back to plug up his or anyone else's plumbing ever again! The source of the slime was dealt with a shot of penicillin each time he entertained a negative thought about himself. At a boy, Tom! *Randy wanted to quit drinking as it interfered with his work and relationships. He found that his mother's anger, and perfectionism, was at the pit of his stomach as well as in the bottom of every bottle. With the use of an emotional garbage can we pulled all that stored anger out and then cleaned up the bottles. His wife called 3 months later to thank me as Randy had not taken a drink since his last session and their relationship was now flourishing! Way to go, Randy! How can we help your man?
