March 3, 2001. This wonderful day started out with John and I at home in prayer. In His presence, the joy set before us had been long awaited, like a Mother desiring for her child to come forth from the womb, to finally see that which had been hidden. We had spent a year in preparation, through many hard ship, trials, and tribulations we have overcome.
WE ARE BROKEN TO HEAL!
This day as we called upon our God in prayer, He removed the old garments, worn torn from battle, and placed upon us New Garments. Behold "I make all things NEW." We had no clue until later that day what we had received from the Lord that morning. He imparted to us a New Anointing for His service. We were ready to start the day. My spirit was excited and nervous at the same time. We have been in the ministry for nine years, had a Church in North Idaho, and have gone to other cites and countries. But, this was somehow different; we sensed the making of History. We were carrying out the Vision that John G. Lake had had some 80years ago while in Portland, Oregon. In this vision an angel appeared to him and showed him three wreaths: One for China, one for Honolulu, and one for San Francisco. White- Pink -Black.
We desired to make this a special day. In the Hawaiian Islands it is a custom to give "Lei's" and to honor those who you love and to show appreciation for the things that others do for you. I had purchased some red & yellow lei's to bless those who were to participate on this special day. The Colors we chose for the Healing Rooms Honolulu are Red & Yellow. The Yellow represents the color of the Island of Oahu. The Red & Yellow together represent the color of Royalty in the Islands. For the Healing Rooms Honolulu the Red is for the Blood of Jesus, and the Yellow is for the Glory of God, together the Yellow and the Red represents the Fire of God.
I made a Pink Wreath with a gold angel on it to represent the angel in the Vision. We also purchased a Pink Lei to toss on the gravesite of the Missionaries who gave there all to come to Hawaii. They gave their lives for the people and for the Land. Mark 10:28-29 reads, "See we have left all and followed you." Jesus answered, "As suredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brother or sister of father or mother or wife or Lands, for My sake and the Gospel's, who shall not receive a hundred-fold now in this time-houses and brothers and sisters and mother and children and Lands, with persecutions- and in the age to come, eternal life". We found ourselves with this same love for our Lord JESUS and for the People of the Land.
The journey started at the "Light of Hope" Church with the Blowing of the Conch Shell and Prayer. We then called forth those we wanted to thank for their participation in the day's events. Lei's were given to the following people:
1) Pastors Steve and Fay Johnson: Pastor Steve left before we arrived. God touched Sister Fay with a double portion enough to share with Brother Steve.John shared the Vision for the Healing Rooms and how God called us to the Islands. The presence of the Lord was strong and tangible. We were presented with a beautiful Koa framed Hawaiian quilt to hang in the Healing Rooms, from Cal and Kanani. This is a gift from the heart of God.
From there we all met across the street from The Kawaiaha'o Church, where the Missionaries once lived. As we all gathered for directions, Pastor Bob Chin, a spiritual descendent of the missionaries, very graciously asked if he could pray and welcome John and I into the Islands. The prayer was to bless us and welcome our calling to the Islands as a genuine work of God. He spoke forth a blessing from the Lord so powerful that John had to grab hold of the parking meter so he would not fall over. I had my staff to hold on to, but was not able to stand up right. I was bent in half from the power of God touching us. Those standing around us were also experiencing the Lightning power of God as Pastor Bob Chin prayed. We are not the same. We have received a Blessing from Heaven. Cal and Kanani gave us a traditional Hawaiian Aloha greeting. Aloha is face to face, breath to breath. We joined and shared Aloha in the true Hawaiian Tradition. They welcomed us as Hawaiians.
From there we went to Bless the fountain " Ka Wai a Ha'o ". The sign reads:
"The Water of Ha'o
In the middle of an otherwise dry and barren plane, existed a sacred spring on these grounds,
reserved for use by high chiefs and chiefesses only. Legend tells us that among the high
ranking who enjoyed the privilege of bathing in the large circular pool was the High Chiefess
Ha'o. Thus the land area near the spring came to bear her name Ka Wai a Ha'o-The Water
of Ha'o An original rock which was found next to the spring has been incorporated into the
existing fountain which commemorates the spring. It is identified by a bronze plaque which
reads: Ka Pohaku O Ka Wai a Ha'o-The Stone of the Water of Ha'o."
John and I along with Pastor Victor Marciel, Kahu Leinaala Drummond, Kupuna Arline and Elder Cal Eaton gathered at the fountain. We called Life to the covered well of Hawaii's Great Awakening. We blessed the waters with salt [2 Kings 2:21] to bring life and to restore the "Great Awakening of Hawaii." We called forth "healing waters" for the City, Living waters, that this Land will never thirst again. This is not just for the High Chiefs but for everyone. Everyone, every tongue, tribe, Nation. Oahu mean's "The Gathering Place". The Great Awakening revival started at Titus Coan and Lorenazo Lyon's churches on the Big Island. As the Holy Spirit swept through the Islands, parishioners at Bringham's Kawaiaha'o church began weeping and falling to the ground in conviction of sin and repentance. Bringham and his group were taken aback by the "unseemly physical outburst" and became critics of the revival even as it was filling their churches! They named him "Reluctant Revivalist." God help us!! Come Holy Spirit, Come!!
The intercessors went to the Gates of the Church, each group prayed for the Ancient Gates to be opened and to let the KING OF GLORY come in. The Great Awakening ended with that Church. The intercessors had an encounter of the God kind. They met a lady in the parking lot who said she and a group of intercessors had been praying at the church for nine years. She was sitting in her car when the group went by her. She asked the group, "Are you praying? Are you Christians? Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? Do you speak in tongues?" They answered yes to all of the above. Well, this girl was so excited she wanted us to go inside to share with the rest of her group. We shared names and telephone numbers so that she could contact the Healing Rooms Honolulu. God let her see the answers to their prayers and let her hear what He is about to do in the City of Honolulu.
As the intercessor went to the gates, John and I went to the gravesite of the Missionaries. We thanked God for those who have gone before us. We threw the PINK Lei onto the graves. It was a moment in time as we pondered the Vision of John G. Lake. And here we were some 80 years later, tossing that Pink Wreath Lei onto the Land of Honolulu, Hawaii, bringing the things of the Spirit into the Earth. Even as the Angel in the silver room waited 70 years at the 349 Rookery Building for Cal Pierce to re-open those Healing Rooms in Spokane, Washington so the Angel awaited this Day for Honolulu.
From there Cal Eaton, Arline, Leinaala, and Linda went to the back of the Church where the Hawaiian Pastors and those who helped build the Church were buried. These also gave their lives for the Gospel. Kupuna Arline an Elder in the Island shared with us the History of the Hawaiians. She took us to the gravesite of her Great-Great grandfather. He was a German and had married a Hawaiian lady. Together they helped build the Kawaiaha'o Church.
"Kawaiaha'o Church"
The Stone Church was built of giant coral slabs, hewned from ocean reefs. The ground was
broken for the Stone Church in 1837. The building materials had to be quarried from
under water, and each weighed more than 1,000 pounds. Natives dove 10 to 20 feet to hand
chisel these pieces from the reef. The physically and spiritually strong hauled some 14,000
of the slabs to this, their destination. The Stone Church was dedicated July 21,1842.
This is the First Church in Honolulu. The Missionaries and Hawaiians built it together.
Kupuna Arline and I placed a red and yellow lei on the graves of her Hawaiian family members
who gave their lives for the Kingdom of God.
We then crossed the street and walked to the Iolani Place. This was the Home of the King and Queen of Hawaii. It is also the place where the US Government along with some greedy businessmen over threw the Hawaiian Government. Some were even related to the Missionaries. As we walked up to the Palace, Heaven was waiting for us. We got a Royal welcome. Mo saw in the spirit that the street was lined with royal angels. They held swords over us like in a military wedding. I heard the scripture: "You are a Kings and Priest of the Royal Priesthood, enter into My Gates with Thanksgiving". And that is what we did. We repented and worshipped our God He said that the Islands will declare His praises.
Here we prayed "Peace to the Land and to the People." Healing to the Land." Healing for what happened to the Queen, having been taken from the people in such a horrible way. Healing for what white man has done. Restoration to the races. Repentance for Division and Lawlessness, bitterness and vengeful feelings. For Unity and Love. For the Lord to set the Captives free, including the Hawaiians who are in Prison. As we prayed Kahu Leinaala had a wonderful vision of PINK butterflies being released. Our God is sooo good!!
Leinaala shared how she once was a professional hula dancer and how she thought she would never dance again. Religion said the dance was evil, so the good Hawaiian Christians stopped dancing the hula. One day a Pastor asked her if she could do a Christian dance. Oh she was so blessed and excited! She prayed to the Lord, "What shall I do since I know of no Christian hula?" But God gave her a dance!! A dance to "The Lords Prayer." She danced it for us on the Iolani Palace grounds, for the Lord, and for the Great cloud of witnesses that was cheering us on. Free, Free, Free, Free, at last--Thank God I am Free at last!! Just like the PINK BUTTERFLIES in her vision.
Cal and Cal's family sang and played their `Ukulele's' for us. It was wonderful. I had in my heart to sing "Hawaii Aloha". Their family {Ohana} is Kupuna {elder's} leaders in the Island. They have welcomed us and loved us with true Aloha. As I sat enjoying the music they began to sing "Hawaii Aloha". It's just like the Lord. Before we ask, He answers!!
From there we walked across the street to the 850 building, Home of the Healing Rooms Honolulu. We took the elevator to the sixth floor. We were not able to get into the rooms that day, so we lined up against the walls of the hallway. There is an opening in the door for the mail. We all took turns on our knees, peeking into what will be the Healing Rooms Honolulu. We then prayed for the sick. There was a lady with a skin disease, and a lady with cancer. They both went down under the power of God. Right in the middle of the hallway-God had His Way. John had a word of knowledge that one of the ladie's husbands will be saved. It was powerful! John and I have never experienced the anointing in this measure. There was a glory cloud in that hallway and everyone there felt it. One boy about ten years old said his hands were heavy when we prayed. His little brother about 8 said he felt something go up his arm. He told his big sister later that Jesus came into him. He felt Jesus come into him! In the spirit I saw that this young boy was carrying a torch. He will carry the Light and the Glory and the Victory of the Lord. It will go on and on, from one generation to another. What a Glorious day was had by all!!!
Thank you all for your prayers, love and support. There was a group of 100 intercessors on the Island praying for us. Now we can eat the fruit of our labor.
