OTHER TIPS:

  • Shakes taste better blended well and really cold, so add fat free milk or juice frozen in ice trays.

  • As bananas ripen, peel and cut into ½ “ slices & freeze in Baggies. They make your shake yummy.

  • Freeze fresh strawberries, blueberries, chopped apples, raspberries, or other fruit.

  • Experiment with different flavors,  juices, and fruit, but add only enough for taste and texture (½ cup)

  • Use only fat-free, sugar-free additions.

Dreyer’s makes a good fat-free, sugar-free vanilla “ice cream”.  Dannon makes good fat-free, sugar-free yogurts. Jell-O makes great instant sugar-free pudding mixes.
