The subtle auric and etheric energy fields which vibrate beyond the body's physical reality,are cleansed and harmonized to enhance healing and emotional balance. Chi in Chinese and Japanese, Prana in Sanskrit, Mana in Hawaiian, is the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Ki surrounds and emanates in all life and is the primary source of existence. We are, in fact, not physical machines but conscious energetic systems. Reiki practitioners have a heightened awareness of the Ki and are trained to act as conduits for healing energy. Through a series of hand positions either lightly touching or slightly above the body, energy is channeled into the system removing blockages and increasing and normalizing the energy flow
