A Dreamer's Dream

A loving angel came to me,
And showed me all my dreams.
She showed me that our life,
Is not always what it seems,



She brought me to a place,
Where the sweetest dreams live.
She gave to me a gift,
That now I gladly give,
"Dream, Dreamer Dream".


She whispered, "Take my hand,
And I will lead you through,
To a place where only,
The sweetest dreams come true."



"You must close your eyes
And open up your heart,
For it is then and only then,
This flight of dreams can start."
"Dream, Dreamer Dream".



She brought me gently through,
The darkness to the light,
Where colors wrapped around me,
In heavenly delight.



A patchwork quilt of beauty,
Flawless, without seams,
Each color was a rainbow,
Each rainbow held my dreams,
"Dream, Dreamer Dream".



She led me through a hallway,
Filled with clear, pure sound,
The doors flung widely open,
Sweet music flowed, gently all around.



And from each room I heard,
Soft music gently play.
I wished with all my heart
That I could always stay,
"Dream, Dreamer Dream".



As we drifted through this dream world
On the fragrance of the breeze,
We savored all the beauty,
Of the flowers and the trees.



We tasted all of life,
Saw all that we could see,
And felt a flow of love,
We felt that we were one
in total harmony.
"Dream, Dreamer Dream".



Then my angel turned to me,
With smiling eyes she said,
"You're the Keeper of all the Dreams
Hidden within your heart and head."


"Find other sleeping dreamers,
Who would dream of love and light,
Sweet dreams will lead them safely
Through the each dark and lonely night."


So I am now the Keeper
Of this lovely dream, it's true,
But I offer all my sweetest dreams,
To each one of you.



May their loving sweetness
Visit you each night,
And fill your soul with love,
Laughter, warmth and light.
