I read a great post on OLTL's  mediadomain.com board, and it's deleted!  It was talkin about how folks missed Roger H on the show, and it got to talkin about soapstars who couldn't get a break in showtime. as folks know I'm really fascinated by showbiz and that sometimes it is just pure luck u know like that Passions guy who could barely act but got a gig on desperate housewives.  It goes on to say ROger H could've just played rapist #1 for 12 weeks on OLTL and THEN go to hollywood to make it there.  WHich makes sense cuz the dude is so identified as Todd Manning (moreso than Paul I believe) and now he's just doing soaps.  Which is not wrong however...the post went onto to say, "you're an actor who wants to stay in NYC and raise a family."  Basically it's going to be a soap steady gig. 

On another Hollywood note, I recall years ago seeing actress Gretchen Mol on the cover of Vanity Fair and I'm like WTF who is this chick who's a nobody?  I think agents were trying to pimp her as the next big thing, and as folks know when you have to try like that w/o notable film and tv work, it is not going to work!  This year she had an interview how awkward that was years ago cuz she didn't deserve all that hype.
