First of all, I had no idea so many folks were reading my blogs...thank you so much...I mostly blog to get my thoughts out and not have to worry about censoring myself or having to register onto a soapboard to post. Ok onward.

-Some folks on SON mentioned that Grayson next time should choose his own sexy leading lady in order to improve on the show.  I'm not sure if Marie Wilson fit this bill but we all know G said out loud he did pick her.  Um, so those SON posters forgot, G does have some input and it didn't work without spectacular writing? And cluckit, he had sexy ladies...wasn't Lesli Kay one, and it didn't work out?  Come on posters, let's not be shallow here...the most important thing to a soap is the storytelling/writing!!!

Which brings me to this, on the Forbidden board we had talked about G's prior movies and how some folks were very pleased finally watching them.  I have been so immensely pleased in watching and rewatching G on tape of his prior works, unlike other soap actors where I didn't give a darn about their other work.  One thing G does was that he does pick variety of roles...and while he is sexy and has charisma and a buff (well back five yrs ago) body, his roles aren't too overtly sexual!  Sure we see him makeout with hot chicks and such, but Legacy was a western, his pilot with Jason Priestley, he was a narcotics cop, he's a professor in Momentum, and an astronaut in Armageddon.  In the now cancelled show, The Agency, he guested as a terrorist named Omar.  (wondered how his mom reacted to that!)

I mentioned the SON ATWT threads, which total about two.  There's a weekly commentary one and the "ways to improve ATWT" one.  But if u notice, this is the LEAST talked about show!  I mean whether it was good or bad, it really doesn't get talked about!  Why so quiet?  Is it cuz it's regarded as a granny nonbuzzworthy show versus BB, GH, YR?  I'm not buying there's not backstage gossip cuz in soapland there ALWAYS is.  Unless, honestly main soapfolks really don't give a darn about this soap.  Terri C once wished that "more folks watched the show"  Well WT is now third and fourth place by default (cuz ABCdaytime is sinking) yet doesn't get notoriety.  Imean that 50th anniv. came and went while I recall how BIG Gh's 40th anniv. was!
