Starting a year ago, we saw shades of Asexual Dusty.  Dusty lost his swagger and smirk when he was supposedly redeemed into "good" guy whatever the heck that was...We had Dusty dressed as Santa...come on, Dusty??? I expect Tom or Holden or a good guy like Jack.  We had Nerdy Dusty in the Munsonsters, but I will give a slight pass for that cuz G did want to do comedy.  And alas, then we had about-to-cry Dusty in a bathtub. (I thought we had a better chance of seeing Dusty throwing his babe against a wall for angry hot shower wall sex)  Is Hogan Sheffer who created a badboy Dusty that folks were aghast (from original teen goody Dusty) just shaking his head now?  Was JP's Dusty the Dusty that was supposed to showup in 2003 if they were true to history?  

There's talk of who would folks want to be HW for ATWT.  I don't recognize some suggestions, but I do recognize the Cullitons.  One of them wrote the Jax/Brenda/Sonny saga I believe.  Another name that popped up on SON was Sally Sussman Morina who writes for YR now.  I will tell you a story of SSM...she wrote my fave soap in the 90s, and I can tell you how ultimately satisfied I was with her writing for my couple.  After they finally kissed, our fanbase sent her flowers.  It was that huge.  She seemingly listened to the fans, unlike what is happening now.  She knew how to do buildup, plot, and satisfying payoff. Well to me.  She wrote in hot dreamy fantasy sequences for my couple...the wait was absolutely worth it when they finally kissed.  YES all that for one real kiss!!!   Alas, Lusty is no more and Grayson may be leaving, but I'd like to see that ATWT ends up back to its glory days again with a new writing regime (BTW, HS is axeing seven staff writers and cleaning house on DOOL...when will that occur for ATWT?)
