I was watching Idol last night with the elderly widower whose late wife's dying wish was for him to sing on Idol, and helped out with a petition with him before her death...and my thought was...no wonder reality tv is bringing drama shows to its knees.  Do have stuff like this on soaps now?  NOPE>     A poster PMd me and we talked about Noah and Julia on AMC and how they just don't do supercouples anymore.  NOAH AND JULIA FREAKIN WENT TO JAMAICA AND THEY ACTUALLY SHOT THE EPPYS IN JAMAICA!  WE SAW A MONTAGE OF THEM ON A BEACH!   I would have loved Peyton and Grayson to exist in the 90s so we would see them make out on a freakin beach!!!  Oh, and how they had a dream Cinderella wedding.    Since soaps aren't cuttin it, I'm wondering if the telenovelas would be good enough and try to bring that romance back.  Romance novels are still the number one genre of novels sold, so I'm thinkin there's gotta be a population out there craving it...cuz soaps don't do that anymore!
