Right now we're seeing a classic case of character-driven versus plot-driven story. Years ago Carly plotted and schemed to get money from her sister Rosanna - and the story worked (for me at least) because we knew WHY she was doing what she was doing - her motivation, needs, and intentions.
With the Adam destroying Will storyline - it's not interesting to me because I have no clue as to WHY he's doing this. There's nothing that we know of in Adam's background to indicate why he seemingly hates Will enough to bad-mouth him and try to steal his wife, as well as setting him up for a crime he didn't commit, namely Will stealing his own money!"
"That's what happens when hacks without talent only produce and write stupid plot driven stories opposed to character driven ones. The biggest mystery ever on ATWT is why anyone pays these hacks to do what they do and why the hacks and those who keep them in their jobs still have jobs.
I just wanted to add that I'm done doing their job for them. No one is paying me the big bucks. This is why I ff almost the entire show. If they can't be bothered with doing their job I can't be bothered with watching their crap.///Shara "
