The Home Coming Dance was Oct.4,1997
in the Genesee High School Gymnasium. It was sponsored
by the Student Council.
Erica attended with two of her friends, Holly and Jenny.
Erica wore a Cranberry Red Satin, full length gown.
Holly wore a Lavander lace gown.
Jenny wore a black velvet evening dress,
accented with black imprinted flowers,
and a diamond accent at the bottom of the
bodice.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by a DJ.
He played mostly techno-pop dance music.
The girls did talk him into playing Gliserene
by Bush, for Holly's birthday which happened to be
that day.
The dance came to an end abruptly at 10:30.
The new curfew is in effect for 14 year olds.
So the school decided to enforce it on everyone.
